We had our wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course last October. The place is beautiful and all went well. It was so stress free with Linda, the event coordinator. They catered the meal, decorated and easily accommodated all of our extra requests. We had the best time and our friends commented on that it was the best wedding they had been to in ages. We had a great meal, a band and dancing and so much fun. I would 100% recommended them.

Maquam Barn and Winery is the perfect venue to host your Vermont wedding. The attention to detail throughout the property is unmatched, the views are spectacular, and the owners go above and beyond for their couples, guests, and vendors. There's plenty of barn venues in Vermont but none are as gorgeous as Maquam. I've photographed two weddings at Maquam in 2020, and my couples were elated with their experience. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with The Barn at Smugglers' Notch for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was easy, transparent, and quick, which made the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is modern, airy, and has a luxurious yet organic feel that perfectly suited our vision. I have worked at Mansfield Barn many times. Very nice group of folks that run it. There are lots of great photo spots, and shade for those hot sunny days. The barn venue itself is great! Yes it is an old barn, but they have upgraded everything, and have brand new AC! So you get the old fashioned flavor, with newer amenities. Like the ATM machine is inside an old refrigerator-how neat! Call Grant! He will treat you right!

Intervale Center

5.0

Burlington, VT
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,250

Located just a mile from downtown Burlington, the Intervale Center's renovated 1860s Community Barn offers a convenient, rustic, and picturesque setting for your special day. Say your “I do’s” in a quaint ceremony outside on the venue’s gorgeous green grounds surrounded by stunning trees, bushes, and of course, your happy loved ones.

I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".

I officiate the first wedding held on the upper vista deck. This venue offers a gorgeous backdrop of the sun setting on Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. After the ceremony the couple and wedding party went to the water's edge (50 yards away) for private photos. The staff made things run smoothly arranging chair and table set up. They provided rooms on the second floor for the couple to prepare before the ceremony and there was ample parking.
