I finally decided to share my love and passion for making pizza with everyone around me through my mobile business. Fig & Pig Catering

5.0

  • Starts at $170
  • Serves Sugar Loaf, NY

Fig & Pig continues to be a creative, quality-driven catering company devoted to showcasing seasonal ingredients and producing exceptional, food-focused events. Our team of professionally-trained chefs cook with dedication and pride to create thoughtful meals that are both comforting and modern. We work closely with our clients to build curated menus and distinctive settings that reflect the personality and vision of their event. At Fig & Pig, the service is as important as the food. Our front of house team drives the success of each event and they take very seriously, the needs of our guests.

My now-husband and I are big foodies! He also works in the restaurant industry, so having great food at our wedding was our top priority. We did a lot of research, looked into all of our venue's recommended vendors, and did tastings with 4 different caterers! Fig and Pig came out on top, not just for the amazing food, but for the team - you could just tell that they really cared about both back of house and front of house, and have put together a team of people who work so well together, who care about the food, have great attitudes and love the wedding business. We loved chatting with Holly at our tasting, and Tammy was on top of every little detail throughout the process. The selection of food was incredible, and they were even open to making customizations. We kept the food coming all night from the Fried Chicken Station at cocktail hour - a crowd favorite, don't miss it! To a late night snack of pretzels and dips, knowing that no one would leave hungry. Our guests are still raving about the food, including our chef friends, saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Also, try the family style dinner! Everyone loved the social way the food was served and enjoyed, and our guests are loved getting to try a little bit of everything. Do yourself a favor, and go with Fig and Pig, you won't regret it!

The New York Country Club

5.0

  • Serves Sugar Loaf, NY

Nestled in the hills of the Hudson Valley just 30 minutes north of NYC the New York Country Club is home to some of the most scenic views in the Hudson Valley, including a dramatic backdrop of the Manhattan skyline! Our covered & partially enclosed terrace offers panoramic views of our award winning golf course with rolling hills, beautiful gardens, serene ponds and waterfalls. Our Grand Ballroom comfortably accommodates 50 to 275 guests in elegant style. Our talented and accomplished Executive Chef offers delicious reception menus with a wide variety of culinary offerings providing for a customized dinner reception.

We loved every moment of wedding planning with Julie Ann at NYCC. She was the first coordinator we spoke to and we knew she was fantastic right away. We visited several other venues to be sure, and they just didn’t measure up to NYCC’s hospitality and attention to detail. Julie Ann kept us updated throughout our year and a half engagement, even through many Covid changes. NYCC always reassured us that they would be up to date with safety policies and procedures, and they most certainly were. The wedding day was absolutely spectacular. Julie Ann and my bridal attendant Lori did not let me worry about a single thing. The vendors got all set up and ready to go and I didn’t even realize! I just got to enjoy my day thanks to the ease and efficiency of NYCC. My guests cannot stop telling me how delicious the food was, and how much food there was! We didn’t even include any add-ons to our menu because there is so much food already (although we really toyed with the sushi station and the ice sculpture add ons!) My husband and I enjoyed all of the cocktail hour food intimately in our bridal suite on a beautiful charcuterie tray. How lovely to have a private moment right after the ceremony! We also got to keep our things in the locked bridal suite the night before the wedding, and could have left things until the next morning if we had chosen. It was so great to have that private, safe space, and to be able to give the key code to select members of family and bridal party. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful Julie Ann was in helping us coordinate the best day of our lives. There isn’t a single thing I would have changed! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Events and Weddings By Allan

5.0

  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Sugar Loaf, NY

Welcome to Events and Weddings By Allan! Our family owned restaurant is a celebration of the Mediterranean region known for its fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and healthy dishes. Our Chef Allan Abbad uses authentic recipes and techniques that have been passed down through generations. Whether you are enjoying our signature hummus, falafel, or kebabs, you can be sure that you are eating the real thing. In addition to our exceptional cuisine, we offer planning services that are tailored to your needs and preferences. From menu planning to decor and party favors, we take care of everything so that you can sit back and enjoy the festivities.

I don’t know which was better, the ease of working with Allan and his wife or quality of the food? Both were amazing. The charcuterie station seemed to go on forever. There was something for everyone and Allan took into account dietary restrictions. Along with the charcuterie station there were salads as well as the main courses. They offered great selections and advice on what dishes would go best with the others. They also offered suggestions to cut down on the already economical prices. I would HIGHLY recommend Events and Weddings by Allan for all of your catering needs.

From the early planning days of timely communication to clean up time following the event, Charmaine and her team’s execution was exemplary. Aside from delicious food, we were treated like family. The food for the wedding was even better than the tasting! It was so good and everyone that attended was super impressed. My only note is that we missed some of the cocktail hour food and dessert during the wedding - I think the day-of coordinator could have been better catering to us knowing how busy we were during the wedding. As long as all of this is explicitly planned in detail ahead of time it should be fine!

The phrase "cento percento" was born in the heart of Florence, Italy with the simple idea of bringing Tuscan style food to New York. Fresh ingredients and tradition are a reflection of Italy's love and passion for serving only the finest foods to their guests. At Cento Percento, we strive to uphold that tradition and provide you with a 100% (cento percento) unforgettable experience.

I hired Cento Percento for several events for my clients and they were amazing to work with. The food is top notch and the service was impeccable. The staff understood the clientele and listened to my ideas and accommodated. They are very professional and a fun group to work with. I plan on using them whenever I have the opportunity.

BITE

5.0

  • Starts at $10,000
  • Serves Sugar Loaf, NY

We really hate the word "catering". This word conjures all the worst least-common-denominator associations, and we believe that through our attention to craft & collaboration, our work attains an authentic resonance far beyond that of most service providers. We aim to work with and compose for, to express & celebrate our clients' & partners' personalities as best we can. but... Until we find a more poetic & succinct descriptor, catering is what we do. Our projects are equally balanced between private (weddings, birthdays, social gatherings), non-profit (galas, openings, fundraisers) and corporate (launches, fashion shows, meetings).

Scott and his team at BITE are extraordinary. He is deeply passionate about his craft, and together with his team, they are detail-oriented, possess phenomenal style, and have caches of patience. As a culinary industry professional, with cooking being what brought me and my husband together, we envisioned our wedding revolving around the dining experience. I intended to include personal touches in everything from the welcome spritzes to the passed desserts on the dance floor. While most industry professionals would understandably feel daunted by such a task, Scott matched my level of enthusiasm as if it were his own wedding. For every idea and whim I came to him with, he delivered with such grace that underscored how well he interpreted my taste. We planned our wedding for two and a half years during the pandemic, so there were many unexpected changes along the way. Ultimately, Scott guided me to make the decisions that would create the most cohesive event. To make a wedding feel opulent and yet ebullient is one of the rarest of abilities - Scott and his team achieve this with thoughtful, contemporary taste and a laser focus on the guest experience. There were fig leaves and rose geranium that Scott personally retrieved from my dad's garden and infused into the passed dessert bites and cocktails and an edible tablescape that emulated a Dutch oil painting. Guests continued to be awed by the beautiful first course of colorful, seasonal vegetables served individually in perfect unison. The main event was a standing rib roast ornamented with pheasant feathers and a shimmering salt-baked bass elaborately presented on vintage rolling carts, then served in traditional French-style service. Our ceremony was intended to take place in the private gardens of the historic General Theological Seminary in Chelsea, but an unexpected impending storm led to a change of plans. Scott recognized that the rain plan that our wedding planners contrived would not be feasible with the live band and dining table set up before it was too late. He rearranged every aspect of the day, starting with proposing a new ceremony vision that I was just as thrilled with, even though it meant his team would have only one hour to turn over the reception room. I can only imagine the complexities and back-and-forth that pulling off the culinary experience this event no doubt required. Yet, during the week of the wedding, Scott handled everything while providing emotional support every step of the way. Despite the challenges the storm brought, all the technicalities were impeccably executed, and our taste and vision for the evening came alive in the most enchanting way. Now, when I look at the pictures of our ceremony in front of the rose-adorned fireplace in the refectory room, it feels almost preordained. I can still hear Scott’s wise assurances, “It won’t always be what you wanted, but it will be exactly what you need.” Our wedding far exceeded what we envisioned and we credit all the magic to Scott. Thank you, Scott and the BITE team, for not just executing a fantastic meal we will always treasure but for also taking on the planning where it was so needed. Without Scott and his team, we never would have had the opportunity to live the moment so fully. xx Jillian Canaj
