We had a wonderful experience working with The Pavilion. The beauty of the venue and the pricing (compared to venues in the greater Chicago area) were what initially attracted us. However, the food through Henrici's (the exclusive in-house catering) and venue staff were incredible assets. We were very lucky to work with Lexi, Jill, and Stacie, all of whom were incredibly patient with the many questions I had throughout the process. Guests repeatedly told us how excellent the food & beautiful the venue was, asking how we found the place a couple hours away from home. We could not recommend The Pavilion more!

The spacious decks overlook the pond and the venue in a luxurious and relaxing environment. Our venue limits the amount of weddings we do in a weekend to make sure that you have a unique and special experience. The staff was attentive and responsive throughout every element of planning and execution, and all we heard all weekend (and since!) from our guests is how much they loved the food and space, and how wonderful and accommodating the staff was at every turn. We have zero regrets about trusting the most important day of our lives to Hotel Goodwin, and would recommend it to anyone!

These flexible halls can also be used as a setting for your reception. The banquet halls are decorated in neutral tones and have wooden floors, creating a blank canvas where you can bring your dream day to life.

We loved our beautiful fall wedding at iron works. We lived out of state (but I'm originally from the area) and the team worked with us long distance via email and phone to get the details together for the event. After shopping around I soon realized this was the BEST spot to have a wedding in the stateline area that is connected to a hotel. There's nothing classy in Rockford, it's all run down and gross but Iron works was classy and had the right vibe and price wasn't over the top (It was still expensive but palatable). I will menton we had our actual ceremony at Nicholas Conservatory in Rockford which was amazing but Iron Works was thee place for the reception. The place is industrial but has sexy vibes with the leather and strong iron beams with a nod to the city's past. The event space was beautiful and still looks new and clean and great shape. Love the details in the decor, It was a great canvas to work with. The view from the river was lovely and loved having the outdoor space to hang out in too, especially for those who smoked. The food was wonderful. Was a little worried about the steak, the first initial tasting was decent but thinking about serving steak for such a big crowd we were skeptical it would turn out but everyone's steak was edible and warm, just cooked perfectly, it is a steak house after all. We were glad we upgraded to the filet too. We were super happy with the appetizers and main course and everything was yummy. The servers were on it. Maybe too on it, I would set my drink down and it would disappear. But overall very pleased with our experience. Everyone we worked with was polite and nice from the servers to the managers in charge, we were treated with kindness and respect. I did fly out to come view it in person just to see how they would treat me and they passed the test.. Would have been nice to know about The booking situation with blocking off rooms that another wedding venue reserved rooms so then some of our party had to go to an air Bnb instead of everyone staying there, which was the whole point of doing it there so people didn't have to drive after the reception. Also wish we could have danced later than midnight but it was in our contract to end the night at midnight. Other than that very happy our experience. It was a beautiful wedding, it went by so fast but it was an unforgettable evening. Thanks for everything.

Communication was quick and reliable, and they were always friendly and attentive to our needs. The venue itself is big, beautiful, and spacious - perfect for hosting our guest list. Karen and Bruce were there on the big day handling all the logistics and helping everything run smoothly. They were extremely helpful making sure my husband and I could just focus on enjoying ourselves. I would definitely recommend Country Coach House to any couple looking for a rustic, charming venue with great staff for their wedding. From a vendor - this venue is beautiful to work at! The layout is great in that everything is nearby. There is an indoor ceremony site incase it rains but also a wonderful outdoor ceremony site as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hoping we get to photograph an event here again soon!

The Mansion's grounds invite guests to enjoy friends and family under the shadow of its four two-story columned porch or its great white pergola. The Saddle Room bar offers both a comfortable lounge around its famous sunken bar or a patio chair to watch the sunset over the Mansion grounds. Extensive indoor spaces include a cavernous Carriage Hall which allows for a fabulous ceremony space with three giant chandeliers and can be converted dance central with party lights for the perfect late night experience. Lastly, the great Parlor Hall provides a perfect space to dine and celebrate with its many large windows with country views.

We had our wedding at Ludlow Mansion in Monroe WI and it was fantastic. Penny and Greg are great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our guests continued to comment throughout the night how the venue was beautiful. Our wedding was in April and they were so accommodating to moving the ceremony to be inside instead of outside the morning of the wedding. I highly recommend going with the three day package as it made everything less stressful. I cannot say enough how happy we were to have our wedding at Ludlow and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for that all in one place for their weddings!

Starting from the first call we had with Amelia (Sales Manager in charge of their room blocks) last November while Jonathan (Wedding-Catering Sales Manager) was out of the office, we knew The Abbey was going to be an amazing venue to work with. Her vibrant personality could be felt over the phone, and made me feel like we’d known her for years. This rang true through every single phone call and email we had during our wedding planning, all the way through being onsite for our wedding week. Amelia is friendly, approachable, a great listener, accommodating, timely, and hospitable to name just a few. We genuinely felt like she cared about the success of our wedding, and the experience that our guests were going to have. She went as far as working with the reservations team to ensure we got a suite that was previously reserved when it opened up, customizing our wedding block to fit our guests’ needs, helping ensure guest welcome bags were distributed, and welcoming us for our stay with a gift basket note. We truly believe we would have ended up having our wedding elsewhere if I hadn’t tracked her down last November. Similar to Amelia - from the first time we connected with Jonathan to start planning our wedding, we knew we had something unique in our venue team, and felt confident we’d be in great hands throughout the process. Jonathan always responded to our frequent emails in an extremely timely manner – often right away even when we told him to wait until business hours – and it often felt like he was one step ahead of us. He was extremely helpful with providing his industry expertise, guiding our decision making based on previous experience with weddings / large events, and felt confident that he ultimately had our best interests in mind. He helped us incorporate unique components / details to our wedding that our guests are still talking about, and gave us the sweetest welcome package in our suite! (And recommended we book a great secluded suite!) Jonathan somehow was able to accommodate all of our requests in some way or another, and always made us feel like he was so personally invested. We never could have imagined working with someone so responsive, flexible, detail-oriented, and somehow as passionate about our wedding as we were. His organizational and coordination skills shined exceptionally throughout the last 10 months – even the day after the wedding he was helping us move things out of the ballroom and transferring flowers to brunch. He was truly there every step of the way. We have not been able to stop raving about both Jonathan and Amelia to anyone who asks, and can confidently say we don’t have any negative feedback to share about our experience. Our guests have been the same way and have all been positively commenting on their whole experience. Any challenges that came up throughout our process were always met with solutions, a clear path forward, and their team going above and beyond. Jonathan and Amelia were even there to see us out the Monday after our wedding as we departed, and made not only us but also our parents feel like family. Truly everyone from check-in, Greg at valet, and restaurant spa staff, to the catering events teams and management being open to our ever changing requests ( and keeping up with our large group size) – everyone was so accommodating to work with. We cannot say more positive things about the staff, venue, and our experience!

I literally could write for an hour or two and still not be able to tell you everything that was so wonderful about working with WSE. They were well organized, available, kind, and definitely make you feel like family. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and photographs very well. We took advantage of the recent upgrades to Alpha and it was a fantastic space; big enough to comfortably accommodate our 150-ish guests, décor, dance floor, buffets, memory table, etc, but still felt intimate. They coordinated well with our outside vendors and I appreciated that we weren’t limited in our vendor selection. They made a lot of things just work without stressing us out at all. The setup for my caterers/servers was excellent and accommodating. The Romeo suite was so much fun for the groomsfolk, but the Juliet suite was an AMAZING amenity. The salon chairs and backlit mirrors were so convenient for my HMUA. The suite was comfortable and roomy despite the zillion people I had coming in and out. The full kitchen (particularly the full size fridge/freezer) was super nice to have. We had our ceremony on the west lawn, which was absolutely beautiful. They also were very enthusiastic and accommodating about letting us get some photos with our dogs and incorporating them into the ceremony. One of the most notable things, though, was how well they handled adapting to my and my guests’ mobility needs. Several of my older family members use walkers and were worried about the walking or the grass and they all felt very accommodated and cared for and were able to enjoy the day. I myself have a disability that affects my ability to walk and stand for very long; this was no problem for them. They shortened the aisle for my ceremony, knew exactly how to create a beautiful ceremony where both we and our wedding party were seated, and they put a lot of mileage on those golf carts getting me and my family where we needed to be safely and comfortably. I cannot recommend White Stone strongly enough and I would have every event there if I could.

Our wedding weekend was everything we could have dreamed of, we have had multiple wedding guests say it was literally the best wedding they have ever attended. Sabrina our planner made the planning experience very efficient and meeting us where we were in the moments and providing every detail we needed. The venue was gorgeous, all the staff was wonderful, the atmosphere getting ready and leading up to the ceremony was everything we wanted, and THE FOOD was so so good. We recommend going with the cake vendor. We loved their selections so much they allowed us to have to cake flavors for our wedding. Everything was such great quality. We recommend a fall wedding if possible here. The grounds of the club are amazing for photos.

Holiday Home Camp is very dear to my heart, as it is where I met my husband and where we held our wedding. The venue is breathtaking, with magnificent views and newly renovated facilities, making it the perfect backdrop for our big day. I cannot express how incredible the experience was; it surpassed all our expectations and was truly unforgettable. We had our wedding 6/15/24 at the blue stem farms and events. When I say this venue is breathtaking, it has everything you’re looking for in a rustic style barn. From the beautiful property to the barn this will make your wedding day even more special. Have to give a huge shot out to Kelly the owner, she is the sweetest lady you will meet. She made sure during the whole planning process to be by our sides. If you need to speak to her, she’s right there for you. On our wedding day she made sure everything ran smoothly. I cannot think of one thing that went wrong. She did a fabulous job ensuring everything was set up properly with the vendors. Highly recommend!
