Amanda Nguyen founded the company in 2017, determined to push the cake industry towards a more modern aesthetic, more nuanced flavors, using technology to create a better customer experience, and ethical treatment of food industry workers.

Raised in Ukraine, I grew up loving the delectable European cakes my mother would bake from scratch. This experience cultivated my love for sweets and baking, and taught me to appreciate desserts that offer both exceptional flavor and just the right amount of sweetness.

Pastry Chef LikLing Khoo started baking at a young age spending time baking with her mom. Trained at California Culinary Academy, she also worked at the famed Tartine Bakery in San Francisco upon graduation in the 2000's. LikLing spent over 10 years working at different resorts, restaurants and bakeries in Vermont and New York honing her skills in all areas of baking and pastry arts. She owned and operated Baker's Dream in New York offering various baked goods and desserts.

When I opened SF Candy Bar in 2012, the business was busy from the start. In 2012, the economy was just coming out of a recession and Silicon Valley started to attract top talent from all over the world. Experiential add on features, like our candy buffets, was fun at office parties, trade shows and holiday parties. Brides and Mitzvahs also found so much joy in our services. Fast forward to more than a decade later, we have added on more services from popcorn buffets, custom packaged party favors, and trail mix buffets. SF Candy Bar is dedicated to providing stunning buffet designs to guests at special events.

We have different kitchens for our gluten-free & allergen-focused customers, and those OK with all ingredients. Our recipes are influenced by European chefs, hence are moderately sweet. Rocko's was founded in 2013 to serve carefully crafted and custom-made ice cream tacos using high quality, locally sourced, and organic ingredients; all wrapped up in one cute, little package. What started as a small ice cream cart eventually expanded into an ice cream taco truck and in Spring 2018, we opened our first brick-and-mortar store in Santa Clara, CA. Don't worry though, we still take the truck out regularly and can bring the ice cream taco cart to your next party!

Dina's love for baking started during her teenage years, but it wasn't until the Covid pandemic that she turned her hobby into a profession. She started small by offering a few items for local pickup in Elk Grove, but word quickly spread, and she began receiving orders from all over the area. Dina worked tirelessly to keep up with demand, constantly striving to improve her craft. As the pandemic continued, she expanded her menu and asked her mother to help. Now in Vallejo, Dina's bakery has become a staple in her community, and she's excited for the future.

Got Sweetz was founded in May 2010, by Rachelle Harris, who was formally an executive assistant, turned self taught cake artist.
