Auntie Viv's is an AAPI woman-owned & family operated small business adventure. When we visited Maui for the first time, and I fell in love at “first taste” with my very first Hawaiian shave ice. How I describe this phenomenon: “It literally was like a deliciously flavored, puffy cloud that instantly melted in my mouth & tasted like liquid gold. It was the best epicurean experience ever." I had my sights set on opening my own shave ice business & spending more time with my husband & two young daughters. I found myself being unhappy, working really long hours & it took a toll on my physical & mental health. Auntie Viv's opened Sept. 2017.

Driven by a lifelong love for the art of baking, my passion for cake-making ignites my soul. In 2012, the economy was just coming out of a recession and Silicon Valley started to attract top talent from all over the world. Experiential add on features, like our candy buffets, was fun at office parties, trade shows and holiday parties. Brides and Mitzvahs also found so much joy in our services. Fast forward to more than a decade later, we have added on more services from popcorn buffets, custom packaged party favors, and trail mix buffets.
