The National Museum of Industrial History in Bethlehem, Pa., is dedicated to preserving America’s rich industrial heritage. Archaeologist, anthropologist, ceramist, scholar and antiquarian, Mercer built Fonthill both as his home and as a showplace for his collection of tiles and prints. The first of three Mercer buildings in Doylestown, Fonthill served as a showplace for Mercer’s famed Moravian tiles. Designed by Mercer, the building is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles. Your guests will be amazed when they enter the tree-lined grounds and visit this amazing castle.

Our historic Doylestown property is the perfect backdrop to assure your next event goes down in the history books! The beautiful Elkins Gallery, can be booked for intimate gatherings or large groups up to 150 people. A vintage baby grand piano and two fireplaces with mantels flank the intimate space. The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is Philadelphia's Library of American History and contains over 21 million historic documents covering every topic imaginable. HSP can create a personalized experience that will thrill and engage your guests! HSP docents can pull historic documents from their enormous collection and display a curated selection of treasures selected specifically for your event. Guests can view and learn about these documents in The Reading Room, which can also host dinners for up to 60 people. Upstairs, the newly renovated Patterson Room can host up to 150 guests for seated receptions.

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Built By Dimmick Drake in 1906, Castle Inn was the last of the great hotels to be built in Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. Tourists flocked to the Gap to escape the summer heat and enjoy the beauty of the Delaware River. Designed by German architect Robert Brueckner, Castle Inn was constructed of poured concrete and timber beams, a European construction technique unusual in the United States at the time.

Hagley Museum and Library is an historic wedding venue in Wilmington, Delaware. The venue is located on the property of a nineteenth-century estate, the original home of the du Pont family, now home to Hagley Museum. With 235 acres of grassy meadows, towering trees, and historic heirloom gardens along the banks of the Brandywine River, you're sure to capture incredible photos of your special day. Greenbank is a beautiful setting for your DIY event, with historic charm and a natural outdoor setting by the Red Clay Creek. You can choose to rent in smaller blocks of time using our Standard Package or take advantage of our Wedding Package: it provides access to the site across two days to allow for stress-free setup, deliveries, rehearsals, photographs, and event preparations, plus cleaning services and other special accommodations.
