Jennifer and her team at JL Thomas Photography were an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day. From our very first interaction, their communication style was clear, gentle, and direct - putting us completely at ease. Jennifer was incredibly flexible and went above and beyond our expectations, even helping with small details to ensure our day ran smoothly. We have very contrasting skin tones, and were worried about how the photos would turn out, but Jennifer's expertise shone through. Each and every photo was perfectly balanced with no distortion, showcasing the beauty and intimacy of our celebration. I’m Luke, a Seattle wedding photographer with a simple mantra: Guest First. Photographer Second. On your wedding day, I’m part of the celebration, prioritizing your experience and capturing the moments that truly matter. We’ll make time for great portraits, but my main goal is to document your day as it unfolds—no endless posing or pulling you away from the fun. From the laughs and tears to the joy, heart, and love, I’ll capture it all to make your day unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
Luke was such an amazing addition to our wedding! He was our first choice for wedding photography and was originally booked up on our date. With Covid changes, we were able to get Bear Beau for our rescheduled, smaller wedding, and we couldn't be happier! Luke brought such a joyful, calm, and helpful presence to our wedding. All of our guests noticed how kind and happy Luke was as he ran around taking pictures, and still talk about how great he was a couple months later. I really couldn’t imagine our day without the help of Luke. He brought such a calmness that made me and my fiancé relax and just enjoy our day. I was able to rely on him to know our schedule, help with the flow, he remembered details like my veil and bouquet- all sorts of things that helped our day run smoothly. Luke even arrived an hour and a half early than planned to get more getting ready photos and detail pictures, which I appreciated so much! Luke also worked amazingly with our videographers. Guests thought they were from the same company because their work together at the wedding seemed so seamless! Luke was really kind and respectful to make sure the videographers were able to have their time and space to capture the day as well. Luke is so skilled and quick that we got amazing photos all day long but never felt like we were busy taking photos- the whole day felt natural and easy. And of course Luke is so extremely talented! We love our pictures so much as they captured the genuine happiness and feel for the day. All the pictures are beautiful!! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the photos we got back and feel so grateful for Luke's above and beyond talent and service for our wedding day. We would recommend Bear Beau to everyone! Out of all the vendors we hired, he was one of the most valuable and made the biggest difference for our day.

Emma Lee Photography

5.0

Shoreline, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,800

Hey there! I’m Emma. I’m a sassy, sarcastic redhead and also a complete sap. To keep it short, I value relationships and experiences above nothing else (although some would say I have a serious West Elm and pizza addiction as well). I love reminiscing and think some of the best nights involve sharing a bottle of wine with old friends and laughing about all of our past adventures (while planning new ones too!). When I think about it, I know I was meant to be a wedding photographer - because I admire your relationship, understand how important this journey to marriage is for you two and understand the importance of documenting it.

Emma was was absolutely awesome to work with! She made my now husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and loved how natural the photos look! Emma was so organized and had great communication throughout so I never had to worry about anything along the way. I cannot wait for Emma to capture our life events going forward!

Andria Lindquist

5.0

Shoreline, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,600

I don’t take myself too seriously. I like to have a good time. I spelI things how i want and I will never wait for a crosswalk. I prefer quality over quantity. Unless we’re talking about coffee, chocolate, wine, shopping, and deals…then i want quality and quantity. I’ve got a potty mouth and a good heart. I give so many fucks about what I do. The details, the experience and creating some real good imagery. I’m an artist and I want to create something beautiful for you.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we met Andria, we knew she was the perfect photographer to capture our wedding day. Her eye for detail and capturing images is truly exceptional. Her photos feel like velvety heirlooms that we treasure every time we look at them. Her knowledge and experience were invaluable on our wedding day, she was the ultimate MC and helped make our day flawless. While a constant professional, she still made sure everyone had fun and was comfortable in front of the camera. What started as our engagement and wedding photographer, continued with a boudoir shoot, two newborn shoots and two 1 year-old shoots (7 sessions!). We hope to have Andria involved in our family's future milestones, as long as she'll have us.

Our experience with Taylor and Yan from Sounds Originals was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to ensure every significant moment was captured with creativity and precision. The end results were nothing short of spectacular. The photos were high-quality, with stunning clarity and perfect lighting. Each shot was framed beautifully and told a story of its own. They were punctual, well-prepared, and adaptable to the changing dynamics of the event. For example, when we were behind our schedule for our couple's picture, Taylor suggested a great idea of finishing our sections during the cocktail time. Taylor's approachable and engaging manner made the photo sessions enjoyable and stress-free for us. She was really helpful with guiding us with posing when we didn't know what to do. The video footage was crystal clear, with smooth transitions and impeccable editing. Overall, I would highly recommend Taylor and Yan from Sounds Originals to anyone in need of an exceptional photographer/videographer. Their passion for their craft is evident in every shot and frame, making them a joy to work with.

Hi There! I'm Sally! Nice to meet you! I am a passionate couples photographer in the Seattle, WA region. I am known for my warm, candid photo style. Forget stiff poses, I am ALL about directing with fun prompts!! I want to capture the raw emotion instilled in you. Let me tell the story of your relationship, family, personal life, etc! My clients mean the world to me & I am always ready to help them in any way that I can! I get to know you, so I can make you the most comfortable during our session.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are so grateful to have landed Sally to be part of our wedding day—she was the perfect fit for our intimate, immediate-family Utah destination wedding. The stars aligned and we happened to be getting married at a location on her Bucket List, meaning we only paid the cost of her travel and lodging from St. Louis. Working with Sally was an incredible experience and an absolute steal. From the time we booked with Sally, it was clear that she is experienced, genuinely loves her work, and takes the time to really understand clients’ visions for their day. In initial video consult, she was direct about the best times/lighting for photos, yet flexible and willing to plan our day just the way we wanted. She was fast in responding (almost immediate) and responsive to any/all questions or requests ahead of time. Sally not only traveled to Utah and woke up at 3 AM with us to capture sunrise photos—she stayed with us and sustained her energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism for the next 9 hours or so. (We parted ways in the afternoon but think she might have kept going for another 9 hours if our party hadn’t all been ready for a nap!) The photo sessions themselves were fun, adventurous, and lighthearted. Sally is true to her style, which is to capture her subjects as their authentic selves—resulting in a mix of traditional portraits and more whimsical, natural, and candid shots. We love our photos! Sally was also exceptionally efficient during group photos: as she had curated a list of groupings we wanted ahead of time, she pulled these up and we were done with family shots in under 20 minutes (and they turned out fabulous)! To top everything off, Sally sent us a celebration goodies box ahead of our wedding as well as a beautiful wedding gift afterward. In all, we could not have chosen better and recommend Sally 100x over!

No matter who you are or where you came from, everyone has a story, and stories were meant to be told. I tell stories through photography. Weddings are incredibly meaningful and intimate. I’m not just someone with a camera who shows up and takes pictures. I believe in truly connecting and engaging with my clients so I can best understand how I can tell their story. With a bright, clean, and vibrant photography style, I help bring my client’s vision to life through beautiful photos that can be cherished forever.

Jonathan is an amazing photographer who clearly shows his dedication and talent, and puts great care into his work! We were very fortunate to have found him shortly after our engagement in October 2023. His photography style and bold colors aligned with what we were looking for. Not only were we drawn to his work, but we loved his fun personality, his professionalism, and his kindness of wanting to know us! Jonathan asked about our story, got to know us as individuals and as a couple, and made sure to tell our story through our photos. He even went overtime to help us with our timeline! He made us feel so comfortable in front of the lens and calmed us when we felt we were not on schedule on the day of the wedding. We love our engagement photos and wedding photos. Highly recommend Jonathan as your photographer! We can’t thank him enough!

Like many kids in the late '90s and early 2000s, I grew up with a camera in hand—Polaroids, video cameras, disposables, film—you name it. I was captivated by the magic of preserving moments and telling stories. Now, as a wedding photographer, I bring that same passion to capturing your day. I’m known for making people feel warm and at ease, whether it’s connecting with your family, hyping up the wedding party, or quietly documenting the in-between moments. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, celebrated, and truly themselves while preserving memories you’ll treasure forever.

My fiancée and I were referred to Lindsey and we couldn't be happier. Lindsey was helpful in the months leading up to the wedding with all of our questions about timelines and photo groups. She was very easy to work with and overall just fun to hang out with on our wedding day. The photos are incredible and she did a great job of capturing the overall feeling and vibe of our wedding. We would highly recommend her as a wedding photographer.

I have been in my share of weddings and know there are photographers who either miss moments or take cheesy pictures - Doug exceeded my hopes and expectations. He got all the shots I wanted and some really awesome candids. He was able to get shots of the important moments and used the space and the lighting to our advantage. He managed to get up close shots but somehow I never felt like a camera was in my face. On top of all that - he was extremely kind, attentive, and efficient. Hey I'm Chelsea! I'm a wedding photographer based out of Seattle, Washington. I'm a super happy 35-year old who is head over heels in love with her job. Photography lets me combine all of my INFJ superpowers into one package, & it fills me with so much joy to share that with my clients. Beyond photography, I'm a total hippy at heart; I love all things nature, the moon, traveling, wildflowers, old creaky houses, thrift shopping, plants, hiking & horror movies.

Chelsea is the best! I had my wedding shot by her. She is a professional, fun, awesome photographer that makes you feel comfortable in front of the lens. Seriously one of the best parts about my wedding was the pictures that she captured! She made me feel like I was beautiful and she truly took my visions to life. Becky G Studios

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Shoreline, WA

California native, PNW resident, coffee drinker, dog scritcher, friend, forward-thinker, designer. I hate having my photo taken (go figure), my dog Boone makes me laugh every day, and I thrive off of honest, intentional conversations. I’ve worked as a photographer for over 8 years and I know that half the job is connecting with people and offering them an experience, not just a gallery. I believe you have to feel comfortable with the person behind the camera before you can let go and fully be yourself in front of it.

Becky worked with us for our elopement photoshoot in October 2023 and it was an incredible experience from inquiry through the photoshoot itself. I had been referred to Becky through a friend who had worked with Becky on her own beautifully photographed wedding. Becky’s warm response to my inquiry set the stage for a great experience. Becky is exceedingly organized and communicative, meeting with us over video chat and later chatting with us through her online portal. She helped us create a shared vision for the day, and leading up to the photoshoot, we felt confident the day would go very well. I was admittedly very nervous for the shoot, as I feel uncomfortable posing in front of a camera. Becky’s demeanor - calm, comfortable, funny, and enthusiastic - settled my nerves immediately and allowed me to be present with my husband on this meaningful day. The photos Becky took are simply incredible. She captured our relationship and new marriage beautifully, while also highlighting the gorgeous landscape. Becky’s photos are truly a gift we cherish.

I believe that everyone is beautiful. Somewhere deep within you, there is a fire of light and joy. Not everyone’s light shines in the same way or with the same strength or even all the time. Stuff changes. People are different, but deep down, everyone is connected to the little bit of themselves that is truly theirs. I’m also all about being adventurous. That could mean we’re going to go climb a mountain or it might mean we’re going to try the really spicy chai tea. By experiencing life in the process of making photos, you’re going to be even more connected to the images because they will have stories that go along with them.

We had the privilege of working with Joe for multiple wedding events as we wanted a fall mountain top elopement & micro party followed by a larger party in the spring. As we started planning the different events, it was most important to us to have a photographer experienced in mountain top celebrations. We decided to work with Joe and could not have chosen better. Joe not only ran up a mountain with us but was involved in all the planning details including sharing a list of the best larch hikes, watching the weather and pinpointing exactly when golden hour would be hitting specific peaks. Even as the sun was setting and the light was fading, Joe found all the last bits of alpenglow to make us feel and look like we were the only ones standing on top of the world. He even carried heavy film cameras with him to capture the evening and we're so glad he did as they resulted in some of our favorite photos. The photos Joe took exceeded all our expectations and we have been excited and proud to share them with all our friends and family. Joe's skill doesn't stop on a mountain top. For our micro and macro party events, he brought an incredible sense of calm and serenity to all the wedding chaos around us. He was somehow everywhere, capturing incredible candid moments while still taking leadership to direct the posed shots we wanted. Joe captured the differences and highlighted the uniqueness in each of our events and yet each gallery we received feels cohesive and timeless. It's impossible to choose favorites and it's going to be very difficult to determine which photos to hang on our walls.

To be perfectly honest, I love what I do. I'm damn good at it. I have dabbled in all sorts of jobs but I kept coming back to the camera. It feels really good to take the craft that I love so much and share it. The scope of my photography is wide but I specialize in weddings and elopements. I've been photographing weddings since 2005. I believe in vibing well with your photographer because let's be honest, your photographer will be up close and personal with you throughout your big day so it's important to choose someone whose energy you enjoy and mesh well with. Having a phone or zoom chat or meeting in person is a good move!

I have had the pleasure of working with Autumn on many weddings and events throughout the last few years and I would recommend her over and over again! I have seen her in action from a Venue perspective, a Planner perspective, and even a Bridesmaid perspective! Each of which was amazing. Autumn is the perfect balance of fun and "get the job done." She makes couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, snaps all of the right photos, and has a bright personality to make the day even more enjoyable. I am a Seattle wedding photographer and would be considered a "natural light photographer" - which basically means I want your photos to look as natural and real as possible! I have a degree in journalism which gives my photos an in the moment storytelling feel. Family portraits and those perfectly posed photos are some of the most important photos of the day, and we definitely do not forget to capture those as well as those gorgeous wide epic bride and groom portraits!

WOW!!! My husband and I were nervous about taking photos since we are not used to posing and be in front of the camera but Sydney made us feel soooo comfortable!! The photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined and I’m forever in awe of them.

As the years have gone by in my career, I have had the pleasure of cultivating a long-lasting journey with my clients, no matter where it began. I have joined in at various times, whether it was at the start of a marriage or with a family that had kids. Regardless of when it all started, I love being there every step of the way to preserve the fleeting moments. We can agree that life goes by far too fast and change is inevitable. Let’s capture these moments, shall we?

It was an absolute wonderful experience! I got the package deal with photographers, videographer, and DJ and they were all so great! Made me feel very comfortable and had excellent and creative ideas for photos! They captured every precious moment.
