The Venue on Church Street is a new event facility in the heart of charming, downtown Cuero, Texas. South Texas-meets-New Orleans-style décor will wow your guests. The Venue is available for occasions big or small, weddings, reunions, banquets and meetings. There is even an outdoor courtyard to accommodate smaller, more intimate settings.

Our venue represents the most authentic, rustic ceremony and reception barn in central Texas. From the rafters and wood beams, to the shiplap and barn doors throughout (not to mention the silo bar, windmill and classic cistern), you’re bound to have guests talking about your wedding day for years to come. The barn has a capacity to fit 350 guests comfortably with additional seating room outside, under our beautiful pavilion, as well as in our artificial turf section. The property overlooks gorgeous farmland, where you are more than likely going to witness the most beautiful sunsets. *COMING END OF SUMMER/EARLY FALL 2021* We have a beautiful home on the property, that can be used as a bridal suite. The home will be able to sleep 12 guests comfortably, and will have a full kitchen and bathroom. Built in 1921, the Martindale Schoolhouse is an official Texas Historical Landmark. The feeling of being inside a 100 year-old school building will transport you back in time to experience what a rural school was like over a century ago. The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall. Perfect for wedding receptions, dances, corporate outings, you name it... all hosted under the sky and stars within the walls of the original school gymnasium.
