Parks Marina on East Lake Okoboji was established in 1983 when Leo “Butch” Parks purchased the then Gibson Sporting Goods. What was once a small fishing boat sales and repair facility. Parks Boat Club is located in Okoboji, Iowa, with views overlooking spectacular East Lake Okoboji. This one of a kind lakeside venue is the perfect location to host any wedding, with facilities to have your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and more! Our venue boasts indoor and outdoor access to the panoramic views of East lake Okoboji, making it perfect for weddings in all seasons.

Our Bridal Suite and Grooms Room are temp controlled and have adequate space to prepare for your Special Day. The addition of our Rustic reception area provides adequate space to host your reception and dance. We have both indoor and outdoor Ceremony locations. Our Affordable Prices include a Day of Coordinator, parking, all the basic necessities for your wedding/reception/and dance. “When looking for a vendor, we wanted some place we could have our wedding outside, but have a back up if you needed it. Not only is MTS farm a beautiful place to get married, they have added features in the recent years to make you’re wedding day less stressful. They’ve a great selection of decor you can chose from, so you don’t have to rent from another vendor to decorate your wedding. We just added some fresh flowers and some other small features, but majority of the decorations for our wedding came from them. We were the first to use their bridal suite. It is gorgeous, and was so fun to get ready with all my bridesmaids all in one spot. We had the make up and hair team come out to the farm. Way less stressful than going to a salon, or getting ready at the hotel. So much room for my wedding party which included myself, matron of honor, 5 bridesmaid, 1 personal attendants, and my mother all getting ready! And now they added a grooms suite on-site as well! Michele was great to work with, always so quick to respond, and really goes out of her way to make it easy on the bride and truly wants your wedding to be all that you hoped for! Would so look into renewing of vows here when that time comes around in the future!”

“Beautiful, charming, full of options/amenities, and an easy-to-work-with venue owner. Yes, please. I toured a handful of places in MN before I signed up for the Barn at Ballard Creek. Other venues were either too expensive for what you get, the people weren't as approachable or as communicative, or as beautiful location-wise. I love the big red barn, the cottage to get ready in, the cows, the flowers, the big tree where I was married, and more. There's plenty of parking. It's clean. Lindsey helped me figure out how to make the wedding work for my vision and budget. I like that I wasn't forced to pick a specific caterer too. 5 stars all around. Have your event here! It's perfect.”
