The Cypress House is a Federal-style home constructed in 1835. Our property resides on 24 acres, along the bank of the Susquehanna River. In 1987, our family dedicated their hearts and hands to restoring the property to it's original glory. The estate features a stone barn dating back to 1817 and meticulously kept colonial gardens bursting with boxwood, magnolias, and garden roses. We are family owned and operated. Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. It’s one of our greatest assets to be able to give our clients a robust and fulfilling event experience.

If you are looking for an intimate outdoor ceremony site, our garden is a peaceful and beautiful space. We are located in the fooothills of the Pocono Mountains of PA. From 2 to 35 people, Harmony Gardens can accommodate you beautifully. If your wedding is smaller, most resorts may not be a good fit. Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.
