Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. This beautiful land was deeded in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson, and acquired by John Alber in 1881 to operate as an orchard and cider mill. Today's owners, Mike and Therese Bossory, are preserving the centennial orchard, gazebo, barns, and cider press to assure your family or special group with a clean, safe, relaxing time on the farm. Alber Orchard is also the ideal location for your wedding or special event, and we look forward to hearing from you. The orchard is a gorgeous setting at any time of the year, and our preferred vendors are extraordinary.

For your special day, plan a wedding made by nature. Set your wedding outdoors in one of our formal gardens or spaces, or indoors amid the lush tropical setting of the Conservatory. All outdoor weddings include an indoor backup space in case of inclement weather.

The fully furnished house sleeps 17, with 3 bathrooms, wrap around porch, & hot tub. Additional accommodations include 2 motel style rooms, a suite that sleeps 4, & a small campground.

River Dell Venue boasts a river-side ceremony location complete with rough-sawn log benches. There is an intimate wooded trail to get to the river and there is plenty of room to spread out. We have an indoor ceremony location in case of a rainy day and the farmhouse is an excellent bridal suite. River Dell really takes on the style of each couple and is very flexible to individual preferences.
