About this venue
Rustic meets glamour at Vale Royal. Enjoy an exclusive weekend or one-day use of our historic barn (circa 1836) on a beautiful, park-like 8 acres with rolling hills. Featuring a covered bridge, bonfire area, and your choice of 4 ceremony sites: the dock on the river with willow trees, the garden courtyard with a picket fence, the woodlands, and the prairie field. Stay the weekend in our well-appointed, 3-bedroom federal-style home. Pets can stay too! Conveniently located and close to hotels in Fenton, MI. Being on private property will allow you to choose any caterer or vendor you wish to use. This allows you the freedom to decorate creatively and chose your own menu. Bring in food carts! Craft Beer Vendors! Ice Cream trucks! If you don't want to DIY, don't worry — our preferred vendors are happy to put a package together for you and take care of your every need. We look forward to sharing the intimate charm that embodies Vale Royal with you and yours!

Rustic Glam!
Our unique and private estate becomes yours exclusively for three days, allowing you plenty of time to execute your vision. The Vale Royal Barn was built in the 1830s by one of Fenton's earliest pioneers. Now, this gem of a barn and all its hand-hewn beams have been restored on our park-like property. Offering absolutely stunning photographic opportunities as well as your choice of a white picket fence courtyard, woodland, riverside, or covered bridge ceremony site, this is the ultimate country party space! We are pleased to provide guests with an intimate outdoor venue that mixes woodsy charm with glamour. This space features a 2200 sq. ft. dining room with up lighting and a chandelier, as well as an indoor bar and bathrooms. An outdoor deck is used for the buffet if weather permits.

Wonderful venue
Our appreciation for The Vale Royal Barn extends far beyond what we could write in a review. The staff was exceptional and catered to our needs extremely well. We booked for a fall wedding and the location absolutely delivered on its’ promise of being a ceremony and reception site out of a storybook. Having the option to book through the weekend (Fri. morning-Sun. morning) made it super easy to host a rehearsal dinner on site and set-up/tear down on days that weren’t our wedding day. We are forever thankful for choosing to celebrate here.

From start to finish, our experience with The Vale Royal Barn was exceptional. Valerie and her team were fast, genuine, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process. Their communication style put us at ease and made us feel like their top priority. The quality of their work and the value they provided was unmatched - their space is clean, spacious, and highly customizable, allowing us to bring our wedding vision to life. Valerie even came to our rescue the night before the wedding when we had an issue with another vendor, quickly getting us new drapery to make our space look stunning. The Vale Royal Barn's kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and we are forever grateful for the role they played in making our special day absolutely perfect.
Fantastic Venue!!
The Vale Royal Barn is a wonderful venue. Val and her team are so easy to work with and never hesitate to lend a helping hand. The barn, house, and surrounding grounds are well maintained and gorgeous! Couples have many picturesque locations to choose from for their ceremony and photographs. I would definitely recommend Vale Royal to anyone looking for that special place to make their memories!
