Port Gamble Weddings & Events

  • Up to 185 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $4,000

St. Paul’s Church sits on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay. The church, built in 1879, is modeled after a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble’s founders. One of the most photographed buildings in the area, the picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. Hood Canal Vista Pavilion offers breath-taking panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal while surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens . Six sets of French doors lead to a slated patio and an expansive grassy bluff right on the shores of the Hood Canal. In the spring and summer months, an adjacent tented terrace offers an additional location for a reception, dance floor and/or cocktail hour.

We had about 100 people and everyone was able to sit and watch and enjoy our pre-wedding event. We had so much fun and the venue is beautiful.

Imperia Lake Union is situated in former historic Lake Union Café, originally built in 1927 and converted to an event venue over 20 years ago. A 6,000 square foot private event space overlooking Lake Union from the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle, Imperia features 10-foot chandeliers, copper ceilings, a built-in dance floor, gourmet menus, premium florals, incredible staff, and so much more. With a Roaring 20’s Art-Deco vibe and a rumored history of being a prohibition-era speakeasy, you’ll be transported into living history and a classic elegance when you host your event with us.

Cannot thank the team at Imperia enough for making our day so special and perfect!!!!! The entire planning process was so easy thanks to their coordination, the food was DELICIOUS (and on our wedding day it was even better than the tasting!) and the in-house florals were stunning. And what a beautiful venue! Get married here!!!! (Photos by Into Dust Photography)

MUCC is nestled amid a picturesque & quintessential Pacific Northwest backdrop. The building itself sits a stone’s throw away from both Discovery Park (Seattle’s largest city park), and the Magnolia Bluffs which overlook the serene Puget Sound, including Space Needle and downtown views. Weddings hold a special place in our hearts, and we are honored to be part of your journey. With its stunning stained glass windows, elegant decor, and serene ambience, MUCC’s Sanctuary offers a truly magical setting for exchanging vows. Whether you dream of an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, our versatile space can accommodate your vision. Our dedicated team understands the importance of personalizing your wedding day. From helping you choose the perfect arrangement of flowers to providing guidance on music selection, we are committed to making your experience unforgettable. Pastor Marci is available to officiate your ceremony, ensuring that every aspect reflects your unique love story.

We were married at MUCC in August of last year and it was perfect! The church space itself is lovely and looks wonderful in our photos. The sanctuary is especially beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. They also had plenty of space in another area of the church so that we could host our reception there as well. This was really helpful since we had many out of town guests who are unfamiliar with driving in the Seattle area. Beyond that, pastor Marci was really wonderful and met with us before the ceremony to talk about what we wanted. We felt really fortunate to find her, but I believe you can also have your own officiant which is not something many churches allow you to do. We also used their pianist for the ceremony music and he did a fantastic job. Overall everything was very easy and convenient, allowing us to just focus on the day. They are also a wonderful church that contributes to the community, definitely appreciate these folks!

Dunn Gardens

Seattle, WA
  • Up to 40 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,200

Celebrate your special day at Dunn Gardens, a 1915 Olmsted-designed historic garden located just north of downtown Seattle. Our 7.5 acres of luscious Northwest native plants, meandering paths, and a peek-a-boo view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains never cease to amaze guests. This is truly the most beautiful garden in Seattle! There are many reasons to choose Dunn Gardens for your wedding, but one of the nicest things about celebrating here is that we only do one wedding per week, allowing you and your vendors to begin set-up on Thursday with a final clean-up on Monday. Our weddings range in size from simple elopements to micro weddings of up to 40 guests. We are flexible and always enjoy working with couples to create the wedding of their dreams. Why would you choose Dunn Gardens? Privacy, personalized service, and your choice of location for the ceremony that provides a variety of scenic and natural opportunities for photographs.

We had a 35 person wedding at Dunn Gardens in July 2024. It was absolutely amazing. Choosing the gardens was hands-down the best decision of our wedding and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. My husband and I searched all over WA and the Bay Area for wedding venues. We were looking for: - an outdoor wedding in the woods - a space appropriate for 40 guests - the ability to host a medium fancy, catered event- like an elevated backyard wedding We chanced upon Dunn Gardens on a botanical garden website. The moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect spot for us. The space alone may be the most gorgeous, well hidden little pocket of Seattle out there. Even folks not looking to get married should check the gardens out- we visited many times in the year leading up to our wedding, and in every season, the garden is a stunning, PNW dream. This is just what we wanted: a place where we could be at peace in the trees with our guests. It was so magical day-of, and all our guests commented on how special and beautiful the venue was. Though the scenery alone is enough to set this venue apart, the rest of our experience here was also incredible. The professionalism and assistance we received from our venue coordinator, Sara, was wonderful. She helped us every step of the way (for a year!) coordinating with our outside vendors, helping us make key decisions, and solving problems for us that arose day-of with our caterers. Working with Sara was one of the best parts of our wedding process. We also loved the flexibility and access the venue provided. In addition to our Saturday wedding, we hosted a casual rehearsal dinner and nature walk at the gardens Friday night, plus a floral prep party in the garden cottage Friday afternoon. Then, after the wedding, we had Sunday and Monday to clean up. The ongoing access to the gardens all weekend was so helpful logistically and gave us more time to enjoy the space with our families. Most of our wedding took place on lawns outside (there are many little areas to set things up- we had our rehearsal dinner on the cottage lawn, ceremony on the tennis lawn, and reception on the great lawn). For our floral prep, rehearsal dinner food area, and getting ready areas, we used the cottage. We did not rent a tent since it was July (a tent would be a good idea most other months). The venue was very flexible with our choice of vendors and our timeline and vision for the event. A few restrictions that worked fine for us were the limit on the headcount (40 at the time we had our wedding), time cutoff (guests out by 9pm- this was perfect, we bar hopped in Fremont with our friends afterwards), and no microphones, speakers, or DJs (we had a keyboardist, which was great. No mics for the ceremony and toasts, which was not a problem at all). A few more helpful things the venue provided were plastic banquet tables, folding chairs, use of furniture for things like outdoor lounging and gift tables, tablecloths (casual style, perfect for the rehearsal pizza dinner), vases (used for floral prep), and chalkboard signs. We loved our wedding and we are so grateful to have had it at Dunn Gardens. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to get married. I recommend this venue wholeheartedly, and encourage any couple thinking about it to stop in for a visit. You will fall in love with this garden- we certainly did and will be back for years to come.
