The Old Winery is nestled in the huge wine cellars of the Lawton Lions Heritage Community Center in the village of Lawton. The center itself is a unique architectural structure of cobblestone, located in the heart of the “Fruit Belt” of southwest Michigan. the 1903 structure, a state and national historic site, is the state’s oldest standing winery building which make is an appropriate setting for the museum.

We are a Brand new start up Venue in Hastings MI. I have been in the weddiing industry for 15 years and have learned that there are very few places out there that are willing to put the time and effort into each event. I wanted to open the doors to my own place to provide the best possible experience for anyone that comes through the doors. We have an amazing outdoor garden ceremony site that will transport you to a place of peace and serenity. I am adding more vendors in-house to provide quality and cost effective options for anyone interested in having one contact person for the entire experience.

Three and four-story vaulted peaks with hand hewn beams provide a perfect palette for any decor. Floor length ivory linens and draping on each aisle post dress The Bangor up beautifully with little effort, and thousands of led lights twinkle overhead. The LEX 530 building was once the home of Pacemaker Trailer Co., one of the earliest RV companies in Elkhart. In the fall of 2018 owners Carl and Emilie Tiedemann took part of the building to create LEX 530. Our couples can count on our event director for dedication to making every event picture perfect. Our executive chef brings his incredible palate and creativity to everything he touches utilizing a licensed commercial kitchen to create anything from the perfect breakfast to an 5-course dinner using only the freshest ingredients around. LEX 530 specializes in offering unique boutique wines that our couples will not find any other place in Indiana. Carl makes his own line of boutique wines in Napa Valley and brings that wine back to Elkhart to sell at LEX 530. His numerous connections to small, independent winemakers in Napa, and around the world, allow LEX 530 access to exclusive wines. All of this will make your wedding stand out.

Rental price includes day before event to set up, event day and day after to tear down. Tables and chairs for 130 provided. Access to museum property for ceremony and pictures. Camping available for guests at an extra cost. Wedding couple camp free. Not available during museum events which include second weekend in June, and from Labor Day to third weekend in September.
