The Old Winery is nestled in the huge wine cellars of the Lawton Lions Heritage Community Center in the village of Lawton. The center itself is a unique architectural structure of cobblestone, located in the heart of the “Fruit Belt” of southwest Michigan. the 1903 structure, a state and national historic site, is the state’s oldest standing winery building which make is an appropriate setting for the museum.

Built in 1871, and restored with love, our event center sits on one countryside acre, just minutes from downtown Kalamazoo. Whether hosting meetings or tea parties, weddings or showers, our intimate one-room schoolhouse is a treasure meant to be shared. The Bellflower is perfect for get togethers of all kinds. We’re hosting showers, intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners, graduation parties and family reunions, and even yoga classes and workshops this year. The best part is, this adventure has just begun. The LEX 530 building was once the home of Pacemaker Trailer Co., one of the earliest RV companies in Elkhart. In the fall of 2018 owners Carl and Emilie Tiedemann took part of the building to create LEX 530. Our couples can count on our event director for dedication to making every event picture perfect. Our executive chef brings his incredible palate and creativity to everything he touches utilizing a licensed commercial kitchen to create anything from the perfect breakfast to an 5-course dinner using only the freshest ingredients around. LEX 530 specializes in offering unique boutique wines that our couples will not find any other place in Indiana. Carl makes his own line of boutique wines in Napa Valley and brings that wine back to Elkhart to sell at LEX 530. His numerous connections to small, independent winemakers in Napa, and around the world, allow LEX 530 access to exclusive wines. All of this will make your wedding stand out.

We are a Brand new start up Venue in Hastings MI. I have been in the weddiing industry for 15 years and have learned that there are very few places out there that are willing to put the time and effort into each event. I wanted to open the doors to my own place to provide the best possible experience for anyone that comes through the doors. We have an amazing outdoor garden ceremony site that will transport you to a place of peace and serenity. I am adding more vendors in-house to provide quality and cost effective options for anyone interested in having one contact person for the entire experience.
