Whether you need flowers for a small elopement or an elaborate celebration, we want to make your wedding flowers as special and unique as your love. Sterling Flower Farm was a joy to work with for our wedding. They were easy to reach and quick to respond throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was exceptional - the flowers they grew on their own farm were absolutely beautiful. They decorated our tables with eucalyptus greenery and created stunning floral arrangements for our ceremony arch. Our bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres were all stunning and exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have been happier with Sterling Flower Farm and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

Poquonnock Plains Urban Farm

5.0

  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Scotland, CT
  • Offer

If you are all about local and sustainable and want your wedding or event to reflect who you are then PQ Urban Farm Flowers is the perfect match. Want a wildflower, natural esthetic for your event, a rustic wedding or a fairytale baby shower look no further. As a flower farmer and florist I am an expert in seasonally grown flowers, show me your look and color pallete and I will choose the perfect in season flowers for you.

Having fresh local flowers in my shop is a great way to start conversations with customers and bring a different vibe to my store than the more mechanical, information seeking, technology vibe that bikes often bring in retail. Flowers break that mentality up, helping to bring a more intimate feeling to the store environment and speak more to what people get from bikes than a list of features/benefits.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Scotland, CT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
If you really want to save money on florals, then go with Flower Moxie! Just a heads up, IT IS A LOT OF WORK, but they give you very clear email instructions of what to expect and there are MANY resources they provide through articles, videos, etc. I was mistaken in thinking that all I would have to do is arrange flowers in vases. You are actually cutting, cleaning and processing everything. We refused to spend money on flowers through a florist, but with Flower Moxie, we were able to incorporate some florals for a very reasonable price!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Scotland, CT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was quick and simple, and they were always responsive to any questions or requests we had. The quality of their work was truly high quality and gorgeous - the bouquets, boutonnières, and beautiful floral arrangements they created for our arch were stunning and exceeded our expectations. They worked closely with us to achieve the exact look and feel we wanted for our wedding florals. The Faux Bouquets are amazing and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for beautiful, top-notch floral pieces for their special day!

Ayla is the definition of a perfect vendor. She is exceptionally talented, dedicated, resourceful, and collaborative. She exceeded our expectations and made an already lovely space feel magical. Ayla's passion and artistic skill is obvious. She immediately understood our organic, airy, and romantic vision, and she and her team made it a reality. With her expertise, an assortment of poppies, ranunculus, chamomile, sweet peas, smilax, etc., brought so much beauty, life, and color to our wedding day. Every design element - from my bridal bouquet to tablescapes and tent installations to our ceremony chuppah (undoubtedly, the most stunning chuppah I've ever seen) - was perfect. Not only does Shade Studios deliver an incredible product, but Ayla is also just cool. She's fun to talk to and brainstorm with, and her excitement, creativity, and curiosity make for a wonderful client experience. I highly recommend Shade Studios. 100/100!

Bloom Culture: Do-it-Yourself Wedding Flowers was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first inquiry, their communication was prompt, kind, and professional. They answered all of my specific questions with personal responses, making the DIY flower process so easy and stress-free. The quality of their work was consistent, thorough, and truly showed how much they cared about making our day special. We saved so much money going the DIY route with Bloom Culture, and it allowed us to create so many wonderful memories putting the arrangements together with our wedding party. I highly recommend Bloom Culture to any couples looking for a reliable, affordable, and caring florist for their wedding. I wanted to do my own flowers to honor my grandmother who was a florist. She passed a few months before the wedding and I just know she would have absolutely loved it and we got to honor her in this way.

Eliza was the florist for our Jewish/Hindu wedding in late October in the Berkshires, and we cannot say enough wonderful things. She helped our vision truly come to life, but also gave guidance when needed which I appreciated. She created a custom mandap/chuppah and incorporated some personal family heirlooms which made it so special. Eliza is a true professional and also a lovely person to work with. She has a passion for sustainability and zero waste which was important to me when picking a florist. I highly recommend Boom & Bloom!!

Brittany knocked our wedding florals out of the park! From the very start she was so easy to work with - meeting us over the phone because we are not local to CT to get a sense of our fall wedding vision. She took such good care to incorporate all of the details we wanted, from the simpler greenery on our sweetheart table to the intricate bridal bouquets and centerpieces, everything exceeded our expectations AND met our budget. Thank you, Brittany!!
