My love for photography started when I was in high school. I became the school yearbook and newspaper photographer the end of my sophomore year until I graduated. For me, the ending of that journey was the saddest thing about my graduation. I was told being a photographer wouldn’t gain me a living, and I should aspire for something higher. I listened to other people instead of following my heart. It wasn’t until after my father passed away, I realized what I should have done. Now I am trying to regain my dream, and prove to myself and others that you can achieve anything your heart truly desires, regardless of what others may say.

I moved around a lot growing up and I can remember not always loving it. But now, truly grateful for how it's shaped me. My husband was the exact opposite. After I moved to Utah for school, I realized I loved capturing all the wonderful emotions that come with engagements and bridals! Unfortunately I realized I wanted to make this pivot at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, when people started putting off their weddings. Then 2021 happened and I got back on track!
