I moved around a lot growing up and I can remember not always loving it. But now, truly grateful for how it's shaped me. My husband was the exact opposite. He had a hometown, graduated high school with childhood friends, knowing every street, and watching every change. I think that is part of the reason we were attracted to each other. One yearning for roots, and the other for branches. Finding them within each other. Finding in each other a home and an adventure. It is hard to remember who I was before him, and hard to imagine my life without him. When I think of him... I smile, I cry, I laugh. This is what makes me feel alive.

I love being able to work with a couple to capture the emotion and connection of the day through a storytelling approach. From the quiet moments of getting ready in the morning, to the vows you take, and the fun of the evening-- I'm there to capture your real moments.

    Gabby was the best photographer we could have ever hoped for. We told her what we were looking for in terms of nature (i.e., mountains and desert) for our wedding, and she knew all the best spots. She recommended multiple places that provided stunning backdrops (e.g., Storm Mountain, Brighton, Donut Falls, Guardsman Pass, Antelope Island). She stayed with us the entire day (so many hours!) and did a second day after photo shoot to get some good desert pictures (Antelope Island). She was amazing with our friends and family, always very friendly and warm. I did a lot of research on photographers before choosing her, and her portfolio demonstrated exceptionally high quality work for a very reasonable price. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for any event that you want to remember well.

    Gabby is FANTASTIC! I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for a photographer. My husband and I are introverted and not super comfortable in front of the camera but Gabby made it easy. The communication throughout the whole process was perfect. She checked in often enough to ease my anxiety, but not so much that it added extra stress through the wedding planning process. We had her do our engagement and wedding photos and she did an amazing job at capturing our love in a way that felt authentic to who we are as a couple. She truly listened to what we wanted. On the actual wedding day, she literally saved my life by sewing a button to my dress so that I could have a bustle for my train to make sure I enjoyed the dancing without tripping or ruining my dress. She was so much more than our photographer, she was our friend who looked out for us and supported us the entire day. You will not be disappointed if you choose Burlap and Blossom!

    Burlap & Blossom LLC were absolutely amazing wedding photographers! From the moment we first spoke with Gabby, we knew we had found the perfect fit. Her communication style was amazing - she was so understanding, fun, and down to earth. Gabby went above and beyond on our wedding day, even offering to fix my dress when it ripped. She had such high energy and really helped ease any and all stress we were feeling. The quality of their work is beyond amazing, and we are so thankful to have her capture our special day. Gabby is truly a gem - she is so down to earth and great with communication, letting us know right away about any delays. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photography experience!

    Cannot recommend Burlap and Blossom enough! Gabby was beyond thorough and easy to work with. She was always available to chat/run things past her. She was so well organized and kept everything running smoothly. She is so kind and an amazing photographer. Our day would not have run without her!
