Built in 1924, the Historic Lakefront Estate is a 3.2-acre property situated in Orlando, Florida, boasts a wide range of amenities including a sprawling patio, swimming pool, bocce ball courts, and firepits, making it an ideal venue for couples to celebrate every aspect of their wedding day. The lush green lawn, surrounded by leafy oak trees and serene views, provides a picturesque setting for an unforgettable outdoor ceremony. After the ceremony, guests can enjoy a cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres on the stylish pool deck while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of the private lake from the outdoor kitchen and covered awning. The Mather Building is located at 30 S. Magnolia Avenue. It is a three-story building constructed by Edward Kuhl and James Delaney. The structure predates the major 1884 fire which began in Delaney’s nearby wooden grocery store, spread to Bassett’s Millinery Store and then to Dr. R.J. Gilliam’s Drug Store. The large fire also destroyed the printing plant of the Reporter, Orlando’s first newspaper.

The A&H’s Maitland Art Center, originally known as the Research Studio, was founded in 1937 by visionary artist and architect J. André Smith. The center was originally a winter artist’s colony, dedicated to fostering an exploratory approach to modern art. The hundreds of original sculptural elements that adorn the structures were hand-carved by André Smith and his associates, and the center remains one of the few surviving examples of Mayan Revival architecture in the southeastern United States.
