FringeArts is a unique venue in Old City with two versatile spaces that can be rented separately or together, based on the couple’s vision. Most often the spaces are rented together. Our restaurant can seat 80 or host a standing cocktail reception for 150. FringeArts can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in their space. The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts boasts two unique event spaces: The Historic Landmark Building houses the oldest art school and museum in the Country with world-renowned architecture by Furness & Hewitt. Featuring classic Victorian Gothic details, the ambiance of this memorable space offers unique entertaining locations for intimate and large groups. The Hamilton Building is an expansive turn-of the century car showroom that has found new life, reinvented as a modern gallery space with views of downtown and direct proximity to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The Hamilton Building offers the unique opportunity to dine among our rotating exhibitions.
