VMG Weddings

5.0

  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,750
  • Serves Port Clyde, ME

VMG Weddings is a New England production company who take pride in capturing memories in the form of a video and photography just as they were captured to cherish for a lifetime. We specialize in cinematic storytelling that highlights the love story of the day. The cinematic style paired with how well we work together and the unobstructed way of capturing helps VMG excel at producing quality wedding and event to be cherished for a lifetime.

I cannot say enough good things about the whole team at VMG Productions. Everything from start to finish was professional, kind and exactly what we were hoping for in a videographer. On our wedding day, we barely even noticed the team filming us and it felt extremely authentic. Des and Jon felt like friends attending our wedding (in the best way possible) and we felt so comfortable around them. Our friends and family shared that same review as well and even told us our wedding video was the best they've seen (we tend to agree). Matt was so wonderful to communicate with throughout this entire process and our wedding video is truly straight out of our dreams. Thank you so much to the entire team!!! We are eternally grateful.

Holly, 30ish 60 miles away- Active 1 day ago. I Enjoy- Tacos, The Office, Long walks on the beach, I don't have any cats, (just 3 kids, don't worry they're mostly tame) not into games looking for the real deal. What I'm looking for- I looking for real, happy couples who want all the moments of their joy-filled day captured in a real and beautiful way. whoops... wrong profile.... ehhh it works. lol

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I planned our wedding for 2020... before the world went haywire, and Holly rode the wave with us from beginning to end. Between reschedules, engagement photos, her photographing our spur of the moment small elopement, and then our big wedding celebration and vow renewal this year with family and friends, I can say with complete confidence I know her work ethic and her commitment to her craft. And they are both top notch. She will do anything to get the perfect shot, she will make your nervous partner more than comfortable being themselves in front of the camera, and she will even pin a boutonnière (because this bride could not!!) when in need. We have so many perfect moments captured I can't even begin to thank her for, because with the right photographer you can relive a moment over and over. You will not be disappointed if you choose Holly for your special day!

Symula Media Group

With over 20+ years of photography experience, capturing life's smallest and biggest moments has been a passion of mine. Being able to encapsulate these candid moments is such a privilege; one that we don't take lightly!

From start to finish Jenn was incredibly professional and easy to deal with. She helped me plan an engagement shoot that, because of its nature, had to be mostly spontaneous and "on-the-fly". She was easily able to adapt and capture our special moment with some INCREDIBLE photographs. We even started receiving some photos the following day! I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Jenn and Symula Media Group to anyone looking for documentation of their special moment!

Hi, I’m Hannah. I’m a lover of art, stories, and spark—the perfect alchemy to creating and capturing all those memory-making, magical moments. Weddings, to me, are about your unique narrative, your origin stories and your threads of connection; the ways in which you’ve woven a love through a tapestry of compassion and inspiration and all that makes you you— both as individuals and as a couple. That’s the fabric of the photo, the material I like to work with; because of this, my photos lean atmospheric and candid.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Hannah was so easy, and the photos from our wedding were exactly what I wanted. I really wanted to maximize the amount of time I spent enjoying my wedding and guests, and Hannah's style was perfect for this – we got our posed portraits done quickly, and the rest of the time she was able to capture what was actually taking place at the wedding. In terms of pre-wedding prep, we met once before I signed the contract and then again about a month before the wedding to nail down details. Hannah was very communicative throughout the whole process, and she turned around 25 beautiful pictures within a week of the wedding for us to share around. I just got 200 more pictures back, and they are stunning. Hannah is such a talent, and I highly recommend her.

Revolution Summer Photography

Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We all innately know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. For me, being able to authentically capture, to preserve those moments in a photograph is such a privilege. I know how much it means to me to be able to look back and say 'this is how things actually happened.' There is beauty in those truths. The kind of folks I work with share that appreciation.

Awarded Best of Zola
Corey was awesome to work with, from the first zoom call when we were in our planning stages all the way through the wedding reception! The photos are nothing short of spectacular! We were looking for a photographer who would take a lot of candid shots and capture special moments that way, which worked perfectly with Corey’s photography style. He also got the pictures back to us incredibly fast. We truly cannot recommend Corey (Revolution Summer Photography) enough!

Sarah Gagnon Photography

5.0

  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,200
  • Serves Port Clyde, ME

Every weekend you'll find me oohing over a wedding dress, and holding my breath for the first moment the groom sees the bride. The wedding style I like the most is candid, but I definitely don't mind posing a nervous couple, or arranging that perfect artistic shot before the light changes. I am patient, calm, and encouraging... I think I get along with everyone... I'm like the nerdy extra bridesmaid with a really killer camera.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used Sarah as our wedding photographer this past weekend and she was amazing! She was prompt and focused and ready to get some shots! I gave her what I had for some flat layout shots with our shoes, invitation etc, and she did such a good job putting it together. We also have so many photos from our first look to choose from as well as inside our venue. She sent us our photos in record time and I can't wait to go through them again!

I take an authentic and cinematic approach to wedding photography. I love to watch life unfold and seek to capture the quiet moments of the day; the moments that slip past in an instant but are the ones that you want to remember forever. I am passionate about creating timeless and lasting photographs for you and your family.

Peter is the best!!! We first met Peter while he was shooting a promotional video for Medomak Family Camp in Washington, Maine, and that video was gorgeous, so when we needed a photographer for our elopement in Acadia, Peter was the obvious choice. My husband and I had never taken professional pictures before, but Peter made us feel so comfortable and at ease through the whole process. He guided us through each location and pose suggestion like he had a great vision, and when we got the pictures back, we knew he definitely did! Our pictures were beautifully and skillfully edited and we will cherish them literally forever. Thank you, Peter!!!

BrightWorks Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,200
  • Serves Port Clyde, ME

I have a long history as a photographer, starting in my twenties with large format view cameras, publishing a book of black and white portraits of Newfoundlanders, studying under Ansel Adams at his Yosemite workshops, and with Aaron Siskind and Harry Callahan at the Rhode Island School of Design. Now, my cameras and equipment are all the latest digital models, but I still rely on my experience and a well trained eye for capturing the optimal moment.

Awarded Best of Zola
I truly cannot recommend Brightworks enough - it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! The entire experience with Brightworks was incredibly thoughtful and personal. Steve, Rebecca and Gabe took such thought, care and time in getting to know us - first over Zoom and then at our engagement shoot - and it was so clearly reflected in our photos. They perfectly planned and executed out engagement shoot, having scouted several locations and taking into account timing and lighting, and the results were incredible! Steve and Rebecca were so helpful in providing posing tips and immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera - this allowed us to get the best possible photos while still feeling relaxed and like ourselves! This also meant that once we got to the wedding day, we were totally comfortable in front of their camera(s). Brightworks put a huge amount of thought and effort into structuring a timeline for the wedding day, which not only made the day run so smoothly but also allowed us to capture all of the moments we wanted. They solicited our thoughts and input, adjusting their plans accordingly, and seamlessly divided photography tasks between them not capture every angle of the day from the posed to the candid! Brightworks was able to capture so many moments not only between me and my husband but also for each one of our guests and loved ones, which was so incredibly special. Not only this, but they were so kind, receptive, responsive, and wonderful to work with through the entire process! We are thrilled with the results, and are absolutely in AWE of their work - do yourself a favor and book them ASAP!!

Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving and laughing. I’m sorry but there are some angles, and poses that are not flattering for everyone. Like, please don’t take a photo of me from below! Hello double chin! What I’m saying is, I got you!

Awarded Best of Zola
Lacie captured moments that took my breath away. Her style and skill is every bride’s dream. She delivers everything you adore from those Pinterest and Instagram wedding photos. So there is no question she can deliver what she is looking for. And we are beyond thrilled with all of our photos. The sneak peeks are also so much fun (she sends a batch of photos shortly after she shoots you). But where Lacie shines and what I have to tell you about is everything else. She truly went above and beyond. She’s not just a photographer, she’ll be one of your favorite people on your special day. Yes, Lacie is kind and friendly and comforting and just the kind of person you need on your wedding day (and who you wished you roomed with in college). But she is so much more. Here are just some of the few meaningful things Lacie did that I noticed that I’ll forever carry with me. Firstly, I had a very important rosary I wanted to photograph, and with the chaos, I had forgotten. It would have broken my heart if I left it behind. Lacie remembered. I got fixated on an insignificant hiccup on my wedding day that could have ruined my day. Lacie redirected my attention to the things that really mattered and brightened up my mood immediately. Leading up to the wedding, Lacie advocated for me and my husband ensuring us she was fully dedicated to only us on the day, literally saying “You and Sean are my priority.” Nobody and nothing would take her attention away from us. She was always quick to respond to texts, I could go to her for quick wedding advice, and she’s genuinely so passionate about her craft. Lacie could really be a wedding planner with how much she knows. Other vendors loved working with her, especially our videographers. She was so quick, efficient, and took initiative. She gave them space and skillfully took turns capturing moments with them. With a big wedding party and spacious venue, we kept losing track of people for pictures, Lacie corralled them masterfully. She’s not afraid to get people to focus and get the photos done, but also in the most polite and respectful way. I watched videos of brides saying I wish this or that moment was captured. Sometimes I’d forget whether I had those moments captured myself. Then I go to Lacie’s photos and every single thing that brides mentioned got missed by their photographer she captured for me. Her vibe! She’s so positive and cheery. I was so nervous and also worried about how dark my church was. She got me excited about it after turning it into a positive saying it would look like the theater and she could absolutely work with it. I texted her a shoot list the night before our wedding. She carried that around and took it so seriously making sure she captured everything I listed. I made a Pinterest board of photos I liked and she remembered ones I forgot I included in there. She was my favorite vendor (tied with my incredible florist @dazyflorals) and the vendor I had no worries about it. I didn’t have to check in with her. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She’d be where she needed to be on time, professional, and prepared. I’m going to miss her. Sign her and soak up her sunshine for me, will ya?

Justin McCallum Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200
  • Serves Port Clyde, ME

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Awarded Best of Zola
I don't even know where to begin. TL/DR: Hire Justin. If you are looking for a person who is as responsible as he is fun, whose pictures are an absurdly brilliant mix of editorial, candid, and artistic; who manages to capture the most joyful moments in the most moving ways, look no further. Photography was important to me; as a bride who had many friends go down the aisle before me, I tried to heed their advice: the photographer is perhaps the most important investment you can make. When I saw Justin's pictures, one word came to mind: "joy."  There was a vibrancy and humanity to his work that made me tear up just looking at his website.  This, combined with the very obvious technical skill he possessed, made me thrilled that he was still available on our wedding date.  Our initial phone call set the tone for the whole process: fun and incredibly thorough and organized.  Indeed, throughout the whole process, Justin was our go to for any questions we had; as the photographer, it made sense for him to keep an eye on logistics, but we were unprepared for how above and beyond Justin would go to make sure our day ran smoothly, from the planning process to execution. Don't let his insanely fun personality fool you: at our wedding he was heads and tails the most professional person there, ready with his shot list, keeping things moving; and yet somehow managed to keep the mood light, fun, and a little bit raunchy. Indeed, a good word for Justin is "prepared."  We had a survey to fill out before our big day, to let him know just what elements were most important to us. When I saw the photos, I couldn't believe how closely he had followed this. The sheer artistry on display, and the range of shots, it didn't seem like just one person could be responsible. The variety and quality was incredible.  And that was a direct result of our having asked for that; that is the wonderful thing about Justin, he cares deeply about his clients and pays attention to them; despite his talent there is no ego involved. He also seems to care deeply about his clients' family...and their friends...and all the wedding guests; everyone commented on how friendly and professional and fun he was. I could go on, likely, forever, but a final note: for my husband and I, the most important thing was capturing the people who came that day to celebrate with us; that was what we wanted to remember most.  We told this to Justin, and when I got the pictures back, I was blown away-- his ability to capture the essence of our family and friends, the way he captured distinct mannerisms, gestures...it was uncanny. That requires training, and artistry; but also kindness, empathy and depth.  Justin has all of those in spades.  It was important for my husband and I to hire someone we wanted to spend the day with; we didn't want him to leave! In post-production, Justin has been just as generous with his time and wrapping up any loose ends.  He stays in touch and makes sure you are thrilled with the final product. It was a pleasure to get to know him and we hope we are cool enough for him to be a part of our lives forever!

My photography style is raw, emotional, timeless, and fun. Whether I’m photographing a tender moment between a couple or the spontaneous laughter during a celebration, I strive to capture the genuine connection and joy shared on your big day. There’s nothing more rewarding for me than freezing those fleeting moments so you can relive them for years to come. If you’re looking for a photographer who can capture your day as it unfolds, I’d love to chat!!

Awarded Best of Zola
Holly was immediately responsive & answered all our questions in detail. She was incredible at our engagement shoot & had even looked up several nearby parks to choose from, & looked at great locations within the 1 we chose to shoot our engagement photos. I was able to change outfits & my fiance/now husband & I felt totally comfortable despite it being our 1st time having professional photography focused on us with her down to earth & direct communication style. Our photos turned out gorgeous & classic. On our wedding day, we had a lot of unexpected things happen like wind & rain at our outdoor ceremony & photography session, but she handled it all with grace & got our photos done beautifully & timely with our wedding party & immediate family as we wanted. We did some outdoor portrait photos & got some adorable ones inside our bridal suite. It was relieving to see her there every step of our 8 hours we hired her for, including our pivotal dances, cake cutting, dancing, etc. She even went above & beyond her job by stepping in several times in several ways when our coordinator was completely forgetful & careless. She communicated with my Mom who was very high strung & quick tempered beautifully. My husband & I literally cannot thank her enough for how beautifully & peacefully she took care of our photos & us on our our wedding. Would recommend her 10x over.

I’m a storyteller. That’s what I’m here to do - document the story of one of your greatest celebrations. My work is heavily focused on the authentic, unplanned moments. My approach is observational and real, creating images that are genuine representations of you, those you love, and the space and moments you share. I create true-to-life images that will bring you back to some of your sweetest, most treasured moments for years to come. These images aren't just for you, after all - they're for the branches of your family tree that have yet to grow. For the generations to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kaitlin is amazing to work with. As a photographer who has done weddings myself, I had high standards and specific requests that weeded out a lot of people during my search. Kaitlin immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans. On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us. If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple. At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. Working with her is like having a best friend there take your wedding photos.

I love what I do. I found my way to professional photography in a roundabout way, having started my working career as a marine scientist and environmental educator in CA and then on Maui. After years immersed in the ocean and hundreds of hours spent underwater, I realized that I was happiest on days when I could adventure freely with a camera in hand. The drive to learn more and become a better photographer lead me back to school on the east coast, where I ended up finding a new dream career and a home and community that I love.

Laura was the best decision we made after deciding to marry each other. It was important to us to find a photographer we felt comfortable with and could laugh with, and Laura is that person! From the start at the complementary engagement shoot we were fully at ease, having a good time and getting great shots. She’s easy going, organized, and excellent at what she does. We love all of our pictures, and some of our absolute favorites are the “in-between” moments when we were unaware she was taking photos. At the end of the day, we realized we had no idea where Laura was half the time - she blended in with the guests so seamlessly. But we trusted she was getting the shots, and she did! She also went above and beyond and had a surprise for us during the reception which was extremely thoughtful and amazed our guests.

Rayleen is perfection! If you are looking for a photographer that will not only give you the best photos ever, but also become your friend then Rayleen is your girl! I was very specific about the photographer I was looking for as our venue is very dark and moody so I wanted a photographer that does that same thing. From the moment we met Rayleen we knew she was the one. We loved that we were vibing with her right away and she got that we did not want a lot of posed portraits. We were looking for a lot more candid photos. We did out engagement shoot at the brewery I work at and the photos came out amazing. We knew then that we had picked the right photographer. We had the best day taking photos, we never felt rushed or over photographed. We got our photos back in about 15 weeks which I thought was great even though she kept apologizing it was taking so long! Thank you Rayleen for not only being an amazing photographer, but also for becoming a friend!

What if your photos actually looked and felt like you? Picture yourself 10 years from now on your wedding anniversary looking back at your wedding album with tears welling up in your eyes as you relive your day. Your wedding should not feel like a performance. Let go of boring wedding traditions, think outside of the box and create something unique that has never been done before. Whatever the perfect day looks like for you, why shouldn’t that be your wedding day? I am more than your wedding photographer, I am your guide, biggest fan, and the curator of your love story, I will also be the one tearing up from behind my lens.

Danielle is not only an extremely talented photographer, but also a joy to work with. She was one of the first and easiest decisions my husband and I made when planning our wedding - her photos are spectacular, she is easy to work with, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Prior to our engagement shoot we were able to get to know Danielle and see how much she cares about her career and getting to know her clients. My husband is not a huge fan of being in front of the camera, but Danielle ensured he felt comfortable and relaxed. We knew exactly what to expect for the day of our wedding, which went seamlessly thanks to her expertise and professionalism. Danielle captured special moments of the two of us alone, but also ensured that we spent the bulk of our wedding present with our family and friends. Our wedding photos capture the story of our day and are so incredibly special to us - we have received compliments already and we love them so, so much. Danielle is an excellent choice when it comes to creative, magical, and intimate wedding photography.

I am SO excited that you stumbled upon my work! I shoot weddings all across the Florida & New England! Capturing raw, true emotions as they happen is what I’m all about. I want to capture it all on your big day. From the moments of you putting your dress to the tears running down your face as you read your vows to each other. To the first kiss and “OMG you’re my spouse now!!” feels. To the unexpected Taco Bell run you make after the ceremony or your grandparents getting down on the dance floor. Being able to grab the moments for you to hold to forever, is such a rewarding humbling job for me.

On the day of my wedding, she was efficient, patient, and truly creative, capturing so many special moments that we'll cherish forever. Gloria is extremely kind and radiated professionalism with grace - she was able to help us get wonderful photos with each table and specific groups of people. It's been 12 years running this small business as a Boston wedding photographer, a New England wedding photographer, working all around the greater Boston area and traveling to destination weddings as well. It's been a crazy ride so far and I can honestly say I still love what I do! I am so grateful that 250+ wedding couples have trusted me to be a part of their weddings, to document one of the milestone days in their lives and to create beautiful heirloom albums and artwork they can enjoy for a lifetime. Ultimately that's what it's all about, serving my clients and creating an amazing experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
Randall was AMAZING to work with! I'm sure as a wedding photographer you need to deal with a lot of unique personalities and unexpected situations. Well I can tell you that Randall is an expert in both of these skills! Like every family, we had our share of characters at the wedding. Unlike most, we had to reschedule (twice), move venues, AND had an additional small ceremony (outside in unseasonable snow) in the height of COVID (Oct 2020). Randall was accommodating, kind, and creative. I'd give him more stars if I could!!

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved Isaac and his wife, Jing, who photographed our wedding earlier this month. Isaac was super calm and collected and on top of everything. His photography style was perfect for us. He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property. Overall an amazing experience and I recommend his work to anyone and everyone looking. He was very considerate when I first reached out about his work and wanted to use him and was very mindful of his travel fees to fit in our budget.

Hi there! I’m Emma CotéEwers, your East Coast & Destination Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer! My work is a seamless blend of traditional heirloom portraiture, lively artistic shots, and a little photojournalism if the day calls for it. With a true-to-color, film-inspired approach, I strive to craft visuals that capture love, laughter, and those beautifully authentic moments that weave together the story of your wedding! I feel like these should include fun facts? Patsy Cline’s Walkin’ After Midnight is my favorite song and I am currently on my 8th nostalgic binge of Gilmore Girls (which might just be fueling my banter lately).

We had the pleasure of working with Emma for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, bridal shower and our rehearsal dinner. We couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Emma was incredibly professional, attentive, and truly passionate about capturing the essence of our love story. For our engagement session, she made us feel completely at ease and guided us with such a gentle touch, making the experience fun and natural. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, capturing the joy, excitement, and deep connection we share. When it came time for my bridal portraits, Emma exceeded all expectations. She understood how important these photos were to me, especially since I was wearing my late grandmother’s ring, which holds immense sentimental value. Emma managed to capture not only the beauty of the dress and the setting but also the emotions and memories tied to this moment. She has an incredible eye for detail and lighting, and the photos are a perfect blend of candid and posed shots that reflect our personalities and relationship beautifully. The final images are more than just pictures; they are timeless keepsakes that we will cherish forever. If you're looking for a photographer who is talented, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in telling your story through photos, look no further than Emma. We can't recommend her enough! Thank you, Emma, for capturing these special moments that we'll treasure for a lifetime!

Natural, documentary, photojournalistic. Real, raw, candid. We’re not going for any stiff prom poses here. I like to capture the day as it is and to document it as it unfolds. I never want to force anything, but I step in and direct where needed. Being in front of the camera isn’t my favorite thing either. I will be here to guide you and prompt you the whole way, I promise.

Jenna was a joy to work with. After booking, she sent us a book with all kinds of helpful wedding information. We based our schedule off of the sample timeline she provided and it worked out really well. On the day of, she traveled out to the farm we had our wedding at. She made us feel really comfortable, and just ourselves! Her documentary style captured some really sweet moments. We also took advantage of her printing and photobook services. We got some great high quality prints and a book we will cherish forever. It was also super easy to transfer all the digital files to my Google account (in addition to receiving the sleekest looking flashdrive I've ever seen). I felt like we got more than just a photographer because she thought of everything. I hope we are able to have Jenna capture some more big life moments for us in the future. I would highly recommend her!

Hi, I’m Julie! I’ve been photographing weddings for about ten years now (holy cow, do I feel old!), starting with photographing friends' weddings and quickly falling in love with the work. While I adore capturing gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom and the quiet (and sometimes chaotic!), beautiful moments during a wedding/elopement/engagement session, those ridiculous candid moments (like when a stranger offers you a fry on the boardwalk during your bridesmaid photos) truly make your day uniquely yours. I'd absolutely describe my style as a mixture of classic, artistic and photojournalism, but my heart lies in capturing candid moments.

My heart beats for real, authentic moments—the kind where love and laughter come effortlessly.

Choosing Felisha to be our wedding photographer truly was one of best decisions we made throughout our planning process. Right from the first phone call with her we could feel her excitement, passion and love for being a photographer. She made us feel comfortable and was there with us every step of the way for the whole time we got to work together. We chose to do our engagement photos with her and she knew just how to shake out all our nerves/shyness, making the whole process fun and stress free. The engagement photos were so beautiful and perfect to use for our Save the Dates. On our wedding day, Felisha was a constant source of genuine joy. She worked with our families and the vendor team seamlessly. She was always there to guide us, she kept everyone on time and she reminded me on multiple occasions to take a second to soak everything in. I had numerous family members and friends come up to me to tell me how amazing our photographer was throughout the night and in the weeks that followed. She laughed with our loved ones, she cried with our loved ones and she broke it down on the dance floor with everyone all while taking the most beautiful photos. And don't even get me started on the film! I will never run out of good things to say about Felisha. She photographed moments that we will cherish forever. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and on the day of our wedding she knew exactly how to capture all the special snippets of our day that would mean the most to look back on. We love Felisha and if we could do it again we would absolutely choose her!

Our first kiss was on the beach, under a star-filled sky, on my favorite island, only home to shells, bioluminescent creatures, and wild horses. Soon after, as two very young humans (21 and 23), we were married. As newlyweds we set off on an adventure, kayaking from Maine to Key West. On that trip, we realized how much we valued spending all our time together and being in charge of our schedule. This business is how we live out that dream.

We could not have imagined better photographers for our wedding day! We met them to get engagement pictures and we had so much fun- we were so worried about being awkward but they made us feel comfortable! And for the wedding day, they got the best shots and were so involved in the wedding without seeming like they were in the way. We got so many compliments on them day of and especially after seeing their work! Highly highly recommend them!!
