The Ballroom at Union Square is a historic space located downtown Newark. Originally built in 1902 originally as a dance hall the venue was renovated and re-opened in 2016 as a concert hall. To our surprise couples began booking weddings and to date we have hosted more than 50. The venue is three stories and features the main ballroom, two full service bars, a full service kitchen, changing rooms, and onsite accommodations for the couple.

The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. Word of mouth spread of how delicious the meat was and it was quite a conversation piece. Buss Farms is a working cattle farm situated on 50 acres just outside of Columbus, OH. Our Venue provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions with endless options to make your special day unique! We are close enough to the city that there are several hotels just a few miles away, yet far enough into the country to enjoy the privacy of being surrounded by nothing but trees, cornfields, and wildflowers. Our Venue features a beautifully outfitted 1902 modern farmhouse that is home to the bridal suite and grooms room. Most receptions take place in the main barn, a late 1800's historic structure. Hillcrest Orchards is an ideal location for a ceremony or a reception. The 90-acre orchard features a historic, 2300 sq. ft. barn and two 24 x 32’ pavilions joined by a brick patio area. Built in 1936, the barn was used to sort and package apples up until 1980 and has recently been renovated to accommodate up to 160 guests complete with restrooms.
