“My experience was great. Monica & Jorge were true professionals and accommodated me. Also, they are extremely reasonably priced! They are very detailed in terms of music you want; and since my requests were very specific, they accommodated me in letting me use a google sheet that I created with all of my details for all the music to be played at my wedding. The best part is that I wanted a mashup/(blend) of two songs (You are all I need - Marvin & Method versions) for my ceremony exit and they were able to do that. It was fantastic. Whatever you are into, whatever music/genre you want played, mixed or whatever, they can do it ( I had about 4 or more genres). I was worried about transitions and they nailed it. And to make my event extra special, Monica gifted me with uplighting!! It MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE and it was noticeable! And Monica does so much outside of assisting her husband. She counseled me throughout the whole process and helped me tremendously organize my thougths/vision. He was ready with suggestions and tips for aspects of the music and the schedule that we weren’t sure about. Our wedding would have undoubtedly been more disorganized and everything would have likely gotten off schedule if not for the advice and flexibility of D.J. Paulish. Especially if you don’t have a formal wedding planner, we recommend an experienced D.J. like Dan – he simultaneously went with the flow and kept everything on track. And despite some of the chaos going on “behind the scenes” with other aspects of the wedding, this D.J. kept the party going and made sure that all of that chaos stayed behind the scenes and that all of the guests continued to have a good time. There was always a crowd dancing on the dance floor and there was always another great song lined up to keep the party going. We highly recommend anyone looking for a D.J. to go with D.J. Paulish!”

“Mike brought expert level attention to detail, along with a great feel for the vibe of our reception. First, he was very informative in our initial discussions, providing direct answers to each of our questions, and giving us an easy to fill in Google Doc for our input. He met with us and our event coordinator to discuss timeline and go over our preferences for certain parts of the ceremony. On the day of he was set up and ready to go for our cocktail hour, and by the time we entered for our first dance he had our (normally very shy) friends and family bumping with energy. During the first dance he kept an eye out for me to signal to wrap up our song a little early (nobody wants to hear a long instrumental outro...). He then proceeded to do a great job of MC'ing our dinner and toasts. Then our party was a complete blast. He expertly weaved in our recommendations with his own song picks. This was no small feat since our wedding featured a combination of American and South Indian cultures, meaning that he had to blend in a number of songs that were most likely new to him. Overall it went really well, with both of our dads having an amazing time, and our friends grouping up for some of the bigger tracks. He closed the night with a special intro to our closer song (Daft Punk's One more time) and everyone was asking for more (unfortunately venues have strict closing times). So, we would highly recommend for the professionalism, organization and ability to keep track of the party's mood as the night went on.”

“Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”
