After a long career DJing clubs, radio, and more I can honestly say nothing is more rewarding than weddings. Just knowing that my music bonds families and helps them enjoy themselves on their most important day is a feeling that can't be replicated at any other gig. When I began getting requested for weddings, I saw a void for club DJs in the industry, so I picked the best and started Shut Down Productions. In addition to our DJ & MC services, we have grown to be a one stop shop by also offering photo booths, lighting, special effects and more to make your celebration even better.

Our talented DJs are handpicked from the hottest clubs yet garnished with professionalism to make your wedding high energy and fun, while also keeping it clean and professional. Building a great party is a team effort between you and our DJs merging your input with song requests and music preferences with our experience and expert execution to make it happen and rock that dancefloor!     I cannot emphasize enough how amazing of a job Burton did as a DJ for our wedding! He executed everything perfectly, from our entrance songs all the way through to our closing songs. He was extremely easy to work with, honoring all of our requests and keeping the energy high for the entire evening. We got so so so many compliments on the music, and the dance floor was packed up until the very end.

    The music at my wedding was incredibly important to me and my spouse. I am of African American background, and he is Latino. We wanted a DJ that could play both music types and do it well. DJ Burton not only did that but was extremely intuitive to the crowd. Quite a few people commented on DJ Burton’s music selection. Lastly, he helped me, and my husband move through the night with ease. He came and found us for almost each event of the night to signal that it was time for another event.
