For over a century patrons have found comfort in this historic building nestled in the heights of the Meadowlands, presently home to Ivy Inn. Opened in the 1870’s as a stagecoach inn, travelers in horse and carriage along Polifly Road (later named Terrace Avenue) stopped here to eat and drink in the tavern below and sleep in one of six guest quarters above. After the turn of the 20th century, the inn evolved into a fine dining restaurant (a popular speakeasy during Prohibition), but eventually fell into disrepair. On Valentine’s Day of 1997, after extensive restoration, the inn once again opened its doors for fine dining, renamed Ivy Inn. Ivy, the symbol of love and marriage, has proven to be a fitting name. Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. Factoria at Charles Point is a grand waterfront wedding event venue located in Peekskill, New York. This 34,000-square-feet event space includes a dance floor, a private catering hall, and a large balcony deck which is ideal for large gatherings. For your next social or corporate event, Red Hat on the River invites you to share in our exquisite views and award winning cuisine. We welcome private and semi-private groups for dining in our loft or main floor. For larger affairs, the unique two story layout, along with our riverside patio, provides many options for creating a truly custom event. Michelle VanNess, Red Hat Director of Special Events, has over a decade of experience with Red Hat creating innovative private events ranging from small corporate dinners to elaborate weddings. Her particular skill is understanding that for some, party planning is a chore to be left to others, while for others it is a joy that requires expert assistance and support.

With intimate gardens and spectacular views of the Hudson River and New Jersey Palisades, Wave Hill offers the most romantic setting in New York City for your unforgettable wedding. Your ceremony takes place at the Pergola on the Great Lawn, with your cocktail hour there— or on either the Lower Lawn or the Kate French Terrace adjacent to historic Wave Hill House. Dinner is held in Armor Hall. Capacity there is capped at 130 guests, including a small band and dance floor in the Hall. If you choose to locate the dance floor nearby in the adjacent Mark Twain Room, then capacity increases to a limit of 180 guests. Weddings at Wave Hill take place only in the evening, with guests arriving after the gardens have closed to the general public. Only one evening event is booked per date to ensure your event is private and exclusive. All events work with our exclusive caterer Great Performances to create a personalized, quality experience for you and your guests.

The building dates back to 1837, a three-level structure which was built by William Nelson. Peekskill lawyer, Congressman, and friend to Abraham Lincoln. A small stage, built on the 3rd floor in 1870, was identified as the “Dramatic Hall.” This emblematic building had been abandoned for about 20 years and fallen into disrepair until 2012, a complete renovation took place restoring the 1870-era theater. The Dramatic Hall serves as a space to host weddings, private parties, plays, live music performances, and more.

The Barrow Mansion has rental space available for a variety of occasions—community events, cultural performances, private parties and weddings—and can accommodate anything from an intimate party to a large blowout. There are three rooms that can be used in any combination for your party’s needs, as well as a large kitchen with a 10-burner Garland stove. We also house the nation's oldest bowling alley, which may be rented at a small additional cost.
