The Nineteenth Century offers multiple event spaces to fit your needs, with hanging chandeliers, a full stage, original hardwood floors, and a lofty ceiling. The Margaret Houck Ballroom is a beautiful and refined space for your ceremony and reception. Windows line both sides of the ballroom giving you plenty of natural light, casting an iridescent glow over the hardwood floors. From small to medium sized parties, consider the South Dining Room or the North Dining Room. Cozy yet elegant, these two rooms offer the perfect atmosphere.

The Carleton Hotel of Oak Park offers more than 6,000 square feet of event space. They have function rooms suitable for weddings of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to grand galas. The venue’s largest event space, the Grand Ballroom, spans 2,500 square feet and can accommodate 150 guests. BiXi Beer presents an ideal venue for your special day, offering delicious food from our James Beard nominated head chef, Bo Fowler. As well as a space that requires minimal additional decor. Choosing us for your wedding allows you and your guests to enjoy either a cocktail party for up to 120 people or a seated dining experience for up to 80 people. Our base rental includes four hours of private access to the entire second floor—The Atrium, Green Room, Lounge, and Terrace (weather permitting). You'll also receive dedicated staff, tables, chairs, and service ware. Additionally, you and your vendors will have access to the space two hours before the event for setup and one hour after for breakdown. The Publishing House B&B is an urban loft in the heart of Chicago’s hottest neighborhood, the West Loop. The former Free Methodist Publishing House was built in 1909 and has been reimagined in 2017. The Publishing House is available for bookings for wedding group accommodation and weekends can be reserved up to two years in advance. The house accommodates up to 24 guests in 11 rooms and provides exclusive use of the property and our staff for personalized service and fully customized breakfast options.
