A space that wows your guests at every phase of your event!

Our first floor is the crown jewel of Walden! As soon as you cross the entrance to the reception and cocktail space you are immediately greeted to versatile room that feels both cozy and spacious at the same time. We decided to white wash the original brick to bring in a light and airy feel to contrast with the industrial floors and ceilings. We fell in love with the original ceilings of the building and opted to keep them as is!!

The team at Walden Chicago was a dream to work with for our wedding. Their communication was efficient, responsive, and kind throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and the value they provided was absolutely essential to our day and overall amazing. The planning and execution of our special day was absolutely flawless, and the Walden team truly made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. Their incredible staff, phenomenal food and drinks, and stunning facilities left our guests in awe of the entire experience. We could not have asked for a better venue or team to bring our wedding vision to life. The Walden is well worth the investment for a beautiful, love-filled wedding weekend.

Wow. Wow. Wow. We just had our wedding on 8/10/24 and can say without a doubt it was the best day of our lives. This was primarily due to the gorgeous Walden venue, their dedicated kitchen/bar staff, and especially our unbelievable planners Kalila & Alyssa. They supported us from beginning to end and not only helped us make decisions when needed, they stood up for us when needed. It is so nice to have people who have your back during this process. We could not speak more highly of Kalila & Alyssa's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication. Our guests continue to rave about the food and drinks!!! People have told us it is the best wedding they have ever been to and the best wedding food they have ever had. Coming from many NJ & NY guests... that means a lot! We could not be more happy with the service provided by Walden, the planners they provided us with, the WOW factor food/drinks, and the overall class and style. This will be a day we will always remember in the absolute BEST way.

Working with Walden was the best decision we made throughout our wedding process! The planners and staff were extremely helpful in crafting the wedding and making it exactly how we wanted it. The venue is beautiful and the in-house catering and drinks are amazing! All of our guests RAVED about the food and drinks, we hope we can attend a wedding at Walden so we can have the food again! We wish we could give Walden a 6 out of 5!

10000% would recommend! The space, the planning, the catering and bar - all amazing and all included in one. The venue is gorgeous and perfectly designed for an all in one wedding day. With the bridal suite and separate spaces, the whole day moves along smoothly from one space to another. On top of the space, the planners and all the staff are wonderful and so easy to work with. As a bride not inclined to be excited about the planning aspect of getting married - I couldn't have asked for more from our planners! They kept us on track and handled the coordinating with the outside vendors both during planning process and on the wedding day (a HUGE help). We loved the bar/catering experience - starting with the tasting party with both our parents, which was such a wonderful event and way to taste the food and drink options. All the drinks and food were delicious (our guests raved about both!), and the team was flexible and accommodating of allergies and preference substitutions.

We provide a full cocktail bar, so no need to provide any of your own alcohol!!!

Yes!! We have a spacious parking lot located to the West side of our building! We do not charge a fee to utilize it, we also have ample street parking near the venue!

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main entrance and into the first floor . We also boast a large elevator to bring guests up and down our second floor space

Your vendor team will have full access to our building on the day of your event! We do not require additional cost for your vendor team to arrive early! For your guests, your event at Walden will be 7 hours! 6 hours from when your event starts and ends, we also include half over before your event and after! This ensures your guests do not feel rushed from start to finish!

We do require our clients to purchase event insurance.

- All tables, Reception and ceremony chairs, Dinnerware & glassware , Full Access to our bridal suite and mother's room on day-of our event, Full-service event planning with walden's planners, Dedicated consultations for wedding planning, tastings and design input of your wedding, Use of venue for your Rehearsal and final walkthrough, Catering and service staff
