Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was informative, communicative, and has the type of personality that helps melt the stress away (and I couldn't have appreciated that more in the last week before the wedding!). He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). And if all that wasn't enough already, he even volunteered to take pictures during our sparkler exit and captured one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! If I ever needed to plan a big event again in the future, the choice for DJ is already made.”

“My friend hired and coordinated with Luis from lionizing entertainment as a DJ for our engagement party in July. It was our first time meeting him at the party and from the beginning he was professional and personable. He made sure we had the type of music we wanted and kept people dancing. We were so happy with his services so we decided to hire him to DJ our wedding this past weekend as well. We originally had a summer wedding planned and decided to move it up sooner. Luis was so flexible and understanding when we reached out about the date change and we were still able to work with him for our new date. Throughout the planning process Luis was super responsive whenever we needed anything and he would check in to make sure we didn’t have any questions and he was more than prepared for our big day. He kept the night running smoothly despite the changes we made to the schedule of events at the last minute. Throughout the night he checked in with us and advocated for everything we needed. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

Music/Dancing was a big deal for me when planning, and he took the time to understand me, my partner, and our guests. On the day of our party, he was the perfect professional, and (again) so kind. Several guests (and our photographer) went out of their way to find me and comment on how good he was in some way—how well mic'ed the ceremony was, how fun the dancing was all night, how creative the cocktail music was, and how cool some of his special touches were. One guest asked me for his contact info, for her friend's upcoming wedding.
