The Inn was conceived in 2007, but this beautiful home dates back to 1840. Built by a southern family whose son-in-law would eventually march by the estate on his way to fight in the Civil War. It has since served as a dairy, a school, and is now the center of The Meadow Lake Equestrian Center, our on-site multi-discipline full-service equestrian facility.

Tucked inside historic Shelbyville, KY just outside of Louisville, this venue is complete with secluded 9 acres of rolling hills landscape and elegantly rustic barn. We host small to medium sized weddings of 108 people or less, but can accommodate more in our vast lawn. The bride and ladies get a 2 story tiny house to prepare for the day while the fellas have a room attached to the barn.
