The barn is conveniently located a half mile off state highway 86, but provides the quiet privacy of the rural countryside. We are committed to creating an event that is uniquely yours, customizing services to your particular needs and preferences. The venue space can accommodate weddings small and large, with affordable and competitive pricing. Situated on 70 acres of scenic hills, pastures and farms. The 3,200-square-foot barn offers a charming, rustic feel that is perfect for your dream country wedding. Draped with tulle and fairy lighting, the barn has a rustic yet elegant feel. The venue has several unique spaces, including outdoor decks complete with cafe lighting, a dedicated ceremony site, patio heaters, gas fire pits and a bridal changing suite.

“Janine and Lark have setup a beautiful rustic wedding venue on their property in Kiowa. An outdoor ceremony space looking out over fields to the east, a dedicated building for the bride and groom (and attendants) to get ready at the venue, a lovely barn for the reception with kitchen resources for the caterer, great outdoor seating, views of Pike’s Peak on a clear day, and even a mini-castle! Working with Janine and Lark was frictionless, they have the business end of their operation down. They were very responsive when we wanted to come out and visit and through the contract phase. Day of they were around if needed but let our wedding planners and vendors do their thing. Oh, and also there are llamas! Highly recommend this venue for your event, we had a small wedding of 55 which worked great but they can easily accommodate much larger groups.”

“Spruce Mountain was the first venue we looked at and it immediately felt like the one. The property was breathtaking in mid-February so I knew it had to be even more stunning in the warmer months when we wanted to get married. We went with the lower ranch which felt like a dreamy, woodsy fairy land and it also felt intimate and flowed nicely for our guests. Something about the natural and cozy vibe of the venue made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day. Aside from the beauty of the venue, Spruce was very easy to work with. I sent our representative Tara tons of emails and questions throughout the year long planning process and she always responded so quickly and was helpful in problem solving. Our property manager Emily was also amazing on the day of. Spruce has a set list of caterers which were all so good it was hard to choose! We went with Occasions. Other vendors were: Indy Pop Photo, Lil Bug Floral, Karis Ranta for wedding planning, Peak Beverage, Diamond Empire Band, Arrow Stagelines, Forever Party Bus, Event Rents, Hipstr photobooth, and Kim J Beauty. All of our vendors had worked at Spruce previously and knew the lay of the land which made everything flow seamlessly on the day. We also rented the Estate House which is offered to Spruce Mountain couples and this was a great experience and so convenient and close by. I can’t imagine our wedding having been anywhere else and will forever relish in the memory of getting married on the most beautiful ranch in Colorado.”

“I could not be more thrilled and impressed with the quality of service during our wedding celebration from the staff at Mount Vernon Canyon Club. It was top notch starting from our initial communication with Barbara to the servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Barbara made sure that we were taken care of from the moment we showed up to the moment we left. She made us feel calm and took care of everything that needed taking care of without us having to remind her. She even boxed up all of the leftover food for us that we were too anxious to eat (all of which was absolutely delicious). The view is spectacular from the deck and after some initial rain and lightning, we were even blessed with a double rainbow! As a wedding venue, Mount Vernon is a perfect 10/10.”

The rustic charm of the Red Barn is the jewel of the property. The newly remodeled dressing rooms are a comfortable space to be with your closest friends and family in preparation for your big day! Just 3 miles north is the quaint town of Evergreen, with fine arts, crafts, gift shops, restaurants, bistros, and coffee shops. The Evergreen lake boasts of many activities from ice skating to kayaking to paddle boating. Hiking trails and open space parks abound. Come on up and see for yourself!

“Overall, I would recommend Evergreen Red Barn to any couple looking to get married. They worked with us and worked with our timeline. They even let us set up our decorations the day before the wedding which was incredible and helpful! All of the other venues that we toured did not allow for that at all. They answered all of my crazy questions, as well as provided the tables & chairs set up, tablecloths (you have to rent them but they are through the venue & not a third party), as well as a ton of decorations that are already up! We only had to provide center pieces and flowers for the arbor. However, what we struggled with was they went through 3 different property managers during the 9 months between our initial appointment and the actual wedding date. So, as I am sure you can imagine, that led to quite a bit of confusion and changing of plans. Being told one thing just for the next person to tell us something different. Additionally, it wasn't always communicated to us that there was a change in managers. Last but not least, when we were setting up we had to remove decorations leftover from a previous wedding. It wasn't that big of a deal, but for the price of the venue it should have already been taken care of before we got there. Overall, our wedding day was the dream come true and everything that we could have hoped for!”

“My husband and I knew we wanted an intimate wedding with less than 20 guests. It was extremely challenging to find a venue that could host both the ceremony and reception that wasn't designed to fit over 100 guests and at the same time was elegant. Then we found Juniper. It was exactly what we were looking for and it was a bonus that it was close enough to Denver so our out of state guests didn't have to drive too far after a full day of travel. Alea and Ashley (the owners) are great to work with and were extremely accommodating and flexible with what we wanted to do. After the wedding our parents were raving about both of them. The venue itself is SO beautiful and we cannot wait to come back and stay at the hotel for our future anniversaries.”
