There isn't enough words in the world to express how absolutely amazing our experience was here at the Portofino. Ever since I was young, I always knew I wanted a beautiful oceanfront wedding, and Portofino completely delivered that and MORE. Everything throughout my wedding planning process was sooo smooth thanks to Rain, aka their most amazing wedding coordinator ever (give that man a raise!!! 3 ). Seriously -- I had 5 months to get everything done for my wedding, and there were points throughout the process where I was questioning myself and whether I should've been *more* stressed than what it was because Rain was always so communicative and helpful. You always hear stories about how the stress gets to you during the wedding planning stages, but I was fortunate to not experience nearly any stress at all and honestly had so much fun throughout the whole planning process! The staff was also just amazing during the cocktail hour and reception as well -- all of our friends and family expressed how impressed they were by everyone's attentiveness, professionalism, and friendliness. They were especially attentive to my new husband and I, and none of that went unnoticed!! Our day was literally so perfect from top to bottom. Not to mention the gorgeous complimentary room we got as the newly weds. We definitely plan to come back many more times in the future to book staycations at the hotel. 10s across the board!!! I will continually recommend this hotel to all my friends and family :)

Typical hot summer daytime temperatures are mild because of gentle ocean breezes from the west. Activities may be located in full sun, in the shade of tall 100' eucalyptus or under 50 year-old walnut trees planted by Monroe himself. For over 13 years there have been thousands of weddings held here where the guests enjoy the chance to be out in the country on a real working farm. The peaceful atmosphere, the towering eucalyptus trees, and the adjacent creek all combine to provide a unique and private location for special occasions. Every effort has been made to accommodate the needs of guests and clients and yet still retain the character and feel of a genuine southern California ranch.

Walnut Grove Weddings was the perfect venue for our wedding! Their communication style was very quick and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and overall value was excellent - the venue had a gorgeous rustic, woodsy and open feel, with no crazy markups. The ambience was truly magical, the staff was on the ball, and the food was incredible. It was the most special day of our lives, not just because it was our wedding, but because the venue and everything about it was so beautiful, comfortable and warm. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day.

We came to Fogo with low hopes that it would be in our range, but after finding out about their packages we were BLOWN away by the prices!! We were able to treat the most important people of our wedding to a full on feast! Everyone was super nice and service was top notch!
