Owner Shauna Hinchen-Joyal studied pastry arts at Johnson and Wales University and has worked in the baking industry for over 20 years, making specialty event and wedding cakes as well as her signature pastries. Shauna and her husband and partner Bob have been trained by an expert baristas at Atomic Coffee Roasters and are proud to serve drinks brewed with their beans. All our espresso drinks are made with our gorgeous Italian made La Marzocco machine.

Steph here! Hi! I love creating edible art! I found my passion with cake over 17 years ago when I became a new mom and wanted to make a special 1st Birthday cake for my son. A few years later I was asked to make my very first wedding cake and I haven't put my spatula down since! My passion is creating 3D, Gravity Defying Designs, Realism and working with fresh flowers on blank slates of buttercream or fondant (Marshmallow) to create stunning one of a kind designs!

Petrova Chocolates was established in 2020 and since then we have been focusing on creating eye-catching, artisanal chocolate bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars and caramels with unique flavor combinations. Hello friends! I’m a nonbinary (they/them) artist, cat parent, and first-time business owner. I derailed my 4-year college plan to work in a restaurant and then attend pastry school - which is how I landed in Rhode Island. I needed a field that was both regimented and creative and pastry delivered! I’ve baked in Providence for over 6 years, and I couldn’t imagine ever leaving the incredible network of small food businesses that I’ve been welcomed into. Every cake and frosting is made by me, from scratch - no fondant in my kitchen! My favorite designs are those that capture the personalities and passions of my incredible clients.
