We absolutely loved everything about our experience at Skyview. From the moment we toured the venue, our breath was taken away with the majestic scenic views of the Appalachia. Our decision was further cemented when we learned everything that was included in their wedding package, an incredible value that beat all of the other venues we visited by a significant margin. We don't want to ruin it for anyone, but honestly they could double their rates and it'd still be worth it. The support from the staff at Skyview (specifically Jenn, Hildegaard, and Ivan) both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding was prompt, thoughtful, and comprehensive. We have never gotten married before but we can't imagine working with a more professional staff that made our planning unbelievably seamless and stress-free. Our guests echoed our sentiment with rave feedback about the picturesque scenery, the epic food, the beautiful cocktail hour space, and the stunning and classy reception room. Skyview is a hidden gem that I hope gets all the recognition they deserve!

My mom found this venue and we checked it out and fell in love with the rustic, cozy vibes! We knew we wanted to have our wedding ceremony and reception here. If you’re looking for a stress free wedding, look no further. I can rave about our wedding forever, our event planner Alessandra Moss helped us every step of the way. Our guests enjoyed the heavenly cocktail hour and were impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Day of coordinator Jennifer was attentive and took care of all my bridal needs. We highly recommend booking Nicotras Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn for your wedding venue, we had a lot of guests traveling and it was easy for our guests to stay in the hotel. We shared our first look on the beautiful property, there are endless options for photo ops. We were able to take many photos and video inside and outside the venue. The ceremony took place outside on the Gazebo, it was absolutely stunning, the weather was perfect. Alessandra met with us regularly in person and was easily accessible via email. She walked us through the wedding planning and guided us on the next steps of the process. It was a great relief that the venue took care of a lot of the details, and we used one of their vendors Red Carpet Events for decor/flowers and they were fantastic.

Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.

There were quite a bit of rules and miscommunications along the way. This made the experience, especially during the end of the engagement season and the actual wedding day a bit dramatic and exhausting. However, this could be avoided if every single detail is ironed out from the very beginning and you are giving consistent reminders of what you're anticipating your day to be like. Overall, the venue is gorgeous and every single area of it is grounds for awesome photo-ops. On a gorgeous day, you will absolutely not regret choosing this location. Not only is it super affordable, but they also give you the freedom to pick your other vendors to create your ideal wedding (as almost everything else is kind of "a la carte"). A bonus is that you get the whole grounds on your wedding day, so that's exciting for you and your guests!

We had our wedding roomblock at the Bridgewater Marriott and were thrilled with our experience. Their communication was consistently responsive and flexible as we made changes to details in the weeks leading up to the big day. The venue itself is big, new and very comfortable - perfect for accommodating our large guest list. The event staff helped coordinate shuttle changes seamlessly and allowed us to provide our own welcome gifts, which was greatly appreciated. They made themselves available for questions 24/7 and surprised us with a bottle of champagne in our room - such a thoughtful touch! Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.

Rachael and her team were absolutely amazing for our wedding whenever I had a question about the venue I knew I would get a very quick response from Rachael days leading up to the wedding. We kept our eye out on the forecast, hoping to have the ceremony outside in the garden however, with the rain we had to have it inside, but it was still absolutely perfect, they were able to get it, so that way you didn’t see everything underneath the tent during the ceremony and most of the time you didn’t even know they were there.

I am in my early stages of planning and setting up my wedding at Snug Harbor. I had attended a wedding and was so impressed by the staff and service. I was a bridesmaid for that wedding and had the opportunity to also be the event planner for my dear friends wedding. Snug was at the top of the list. Once my friends had seen the place they were set on it! For myself, as of late I’ve been doing many tours of many venues and finally I circled back to Snug Harbor. I wanted to try for something unique and different and after seeing so many venues that felt like copy and pastes of each other, Snug was a refreshing breath. I’ve been working with Kenzie and Josephine who have been nothing but helpful in the process of hammering out details. One thing for me and my fiancé that was important was that the food held up to our standards. We were worried we wouldn’t be able to do a tasing before booking (as most venues offer either NO tasting or a tasting event after booking). Kenzie worked out a plan for us to get a private tasting the morning of another wedding. This was such a relief and the price we spend on the tasting will go directly toward our wedding. Unlike other venues, I do feel like I’ve been able to customize packages and food and really make this the event we had dreamed about. Not to mention we are local to Staten Island and this venue does NOT feel like we are in Staten Island. It is such a tucked away oasis that we are saying yes to! It is better than pictures and I can not express how excited we are that we found such a beautiful and unique venue close to home for our family and friends. I plan to update this review as I go or after the wedding!

I am beyond satisfied with my wedding experience with Brooklake Country Club. We worked with Wendy and for 18 months, she guided us with her expertise and professionalism every step of the way. I could always rely on her to get back to us right away and do whatever was necessary to make our day memorable. The venue only hosts one event at a time, so on the day of your event, the entire staff is working tirelessly to make YOUR day run as smoothly as possible. On the day of my wedding, I did not have to worry about a thing. My bridal attendant, Michelle, was absolutely phenomenal. From morning until night, she was there to make my experience so much easier so that I could truly enjoy every minute of the experience. Along with Wendy, our Maitre D Natalia kept the day running without a misstep. My parents raved about the level of service they received at their table, and all my guests complimented me on the quality of food served. The venue has breathtaking views that are perfect for pictures and can be enjoyed from anywhere on the grounds. I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a wedding or event there. Not only is it beautiful, but the staff are caring and efficient as well. They made our day a dream come true!

Bridgewater Manor was an incredible venue for our wedding. Alyssa was amazing - she was very prompt in returning our emails and phone calls, and was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Alyssa was extremely attentive and made sure I was ready for the ceremony, even helping to put my husband's boutonniere on correctly. I was very nervous right before walking down the aisle, but Alyssa was there to calm my nerves. Adele was also fantastic all night long - he made sure we had food and drinks during cocktail hour and was available to assist us with anything we needed. I never had to hesitate to ask Adele for help. The entire Bridgewater Manor team contributed to making our wedding day so special and stress-free. We had the best day of our lives at the Madison Hotel! We actually found them through Zola, having never heard of them before. When we toured, we fell in love with the Conservatory, which is ultimately where we had our ceremony and reception. The day was amazing - the food was delicious (and there was so much of it!), the hotel was beautiful, and it was convenient having our guests onsite for all activities (like our after party). I only deducted one star due to communication; I felt like most of the communication was driven by us, such as scheduling our final venue walkthrough. Everyone was very helpful, but I would have liked a bit more communication as a type A planner. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of our love.

My husband and I cannot say enough about the Park Savoy - the venue and the staff are absolutely incredible. Not only are the grounds stunning, not to mention you have the entire venue to yourself for the duration of your event, but the staff constantly tends to the bride and groom’s every need AS WELL as ensuring all guests are taken care of. The food is amazing and there is so much of it between cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. It is no exaggeration to say that there is something for everyone - No one will be leaving with empty bellies! There are also so many options for those who have dietary restrictions. We got nothing but rave reviews. The staff ensures that everything goes to plan, you absolutely do not need a wedding coordinator if you get married here. As the bride at the Park Savoy, I can say I actually felt like royalty or the first lady on wedding day, but they also take care of you during the entire planning process to keep you organized. Not only do the staff provide top notch service, but they’re all so kind, you walk out of there feeling like friends. The Park Savoy runs a very well-oiled machine, and we cannot recommend this venue enough. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to get married at this beautiful estate.

Gabe and the entire crew at HH knocked it out of the park. The entire day went flawlessly, they worked seamlessly with our vendors, set up the rooms better than I could have ever imagined. Finding The Valley at Neshanic and booking it for our NJ December 2023 wedding truly felt like finding a hidden treasure or a diamond in the rough! We absolutely loved our wedding venue! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, and everything about the venue itself was perfect for our big day. The staff was generally great, and the venue itself exceeded our expectations. However, there were a couple of things that caught us off guard. First, when we went to drop off our decorations the day before the wedding, we were surprised to find large, dramatic Christmas decorations still in the foyer—something we were never informed would be there. Thankfully, the team worked with us to remove them, and by the morning of the wedding, everything was taken care of, which we really appreciated. Second, we were disappointed to find that the venue ran out of rum for our signature drink. We had clearly communicated that rum was a major ingredient, yet they only had two bottles for the entire night, which was nowhere near enough. It seemed like they completely forgot that rum was a key part of our signature cocktail, and it was frustrating to see our guests unable to enjoy it as planned. Lastly, after the wedding, we heard some concerning stories about the way the venue manager and team interacted with our vendors, particularly our wedding planner. Apparently, voices were raised, and things got very heated, with fingers being pointed at faces. It was heartbreaking to hear this, especially because it was completely at odds with the otherwise wonderful experience we had. It felt very unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, the venue itself was stunning, and the event went off beautifully, but these issues were frustrating and disappointing, especially when considering how much we loved everything else. If you decide to book here, just make sure to keep a close eye on the details and be aware of how the team handles interactions with vendors.

Just a quick walk away from the 45th street R train, our taproom is a fantastic venue for weddings, after parties and engagement parties. Our bar offers locally made craft beer, wine, and NA beverages. As we have a New York State Liquor license, we are happy to accommodate cocktails by request and work out a beverage plan that works best for our patrons. Our taproom features 2,500 square feet of usable event space, perfect for a wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, welcome cocktail hour, bridal shower, engagement party or bachelor/bachelorette party. We held our wedding reception at Five Boroughs Brewery in October 2023, and we couldn't have been happier! We opted for a combination of seated and standing for our 65 guests, designating the long banquet tables for our families to gather, and the high-top tables for our friends to mix and mingle. There was space in the center of the room for speeches, a musical performance, and reciting our vows before inviting everyone onto the dance floor. Our guests loved the Five Boroughs beers on tap, and they also offered wines and cider, as well as seltzer for non-drinkers. We had catered appetizer platters set up along the wall, and a food truck parked outside. There's also a ramp entrance, which was very helpful for my 93-year-old grandmother. The ambiance in the taproom was warm, intimate, and beautiful even with us opting for very minimal additional decor. The staff was kind, communicative, and helpful every step of the way--the care they took to ensure our wedding went perfectly was really evident. Our Five Boroughs wedding was joyful, intimate, and personal.

We hosted about 100 guests for wedding welcome drinks at Carreau Club and everyone had a blast! Our guests enjoyed casual petanque play and everyone was very impressed with the unique setting and the overall atmosphere, service, and vibes. The staff were very helpful teaching guests petanque rules and gameplay. Carreau Club was very flexible and accommodating, with several different options for food/bar packages and court/venue buyouts. Dana was a dream to work with. While I hope I never get married again, if I do, I would be sure to come back to Carreau Club -- let's play petanque!

I dont even know where to start with Liberty Warehouse. Jeff, Andrea, and the entire staff is top top notch. It is a lovely setting with a private promenade to include a full view of the city, beautiful indoor spaces that are easy to compliment or transform, incredible food, unmatched service, and all of my clients rave about their events. The entire process of booking to day of is an absolutre pleasure. The Liberty Warehouse is always the first venue I recommend to all of our clients. If I could give them 10 stars I would. We had our heart set on Strong Rope as the perfect spot for our wedding after party, and reached out to the team more than a year in advance. Even though they don't officially book until six months beforehand, Katie gave us all the information that we needed and when the 6-month window arrived we were already set with all of our options. They often do wedding after parties and have a specific package, which was relatively inexpensive. The team was easy to work with - they even helped put out some of our snacks! The beers are always good, and they loaded up our Spotify playlist. The beertenders were great. We'd highly recommend them for wedding afterparties, but honestly, would do so for any event!

This room can accommodate roughly 50-60 guests. The Rooftop River Room is a fully enclosed rooftop that offers nearly 360-degree views of the Navesink River. Similar to the Main Dining Room it features two solid glass garage doors that open, in addition to the two sliding glass doors on the right hand wall. This room can accommodate roughly 30 guests. The Turtle Room is located on our second floor, and accommodates 20 guests. This room boasts an upscale relaxing environment coupled with the benefits of a private space. And last, we have our Starfish Room, this room allows roughly 30 guests. The Starfish and Turtle room are connected to each other with private restrooms and a small bar located at the center of the room.

I can't speak enough about how easy it was to work with everyone at 26 West. They let us tweak the menu for our rehearsal dinner, and with views of the Navesink from upstairs it was a great night. The service was spot on, and in a day and age where there is a shortage of staff, they made sure everything was taken care of. Anything that anyone else needed they were on top of.
