The Sherwood Chalet at Forest Lodge is a wedding venue located in Warren, New Jersey that is nestled on 50 acres in the Watchung Mountains. The venue has been family-owned and operated since 1984 and offers a romantic experience for all weddings from start to finish. Facilities and Capacity The elegant ballroom at The Sherwood Chalet creates the perfect ambiance for an exclusive reception, featuring adorned crystal chandeliers and a beautiful neutral color palette that will complement any style. The Forest Lodge has a beautiful gazebo that is surrounded by a rustic landscaped setting, creating the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. After the ceremony your guests will be guided into the new stone deck and patio, an exquisite spot surrounded by wrought iron fencing that is ideal for a cocktail hour and full bar. The entire property can accommodate up to 190 guests.

    My mom found this venue and we checked it out and fell in love with the rustic, cozy vibes! We knew we wanted to have our wedding ceremony and reception here. We worked with Scott throughout the planning process along with Abby! Jeanette, Linda, and Denise were also super helpful! Such a great team there. Our guests enjoyed the fantastic service and food! It’s a beautiful place to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail/reception space was also very nice! Overall, a lovely wedding experience for my husband and our guests! THANK YOU to everyone at Forest Lodge for the great service, your patience in answering our infinite questions and for your professionalism! You made it truly memorable and fun!!

    The food here is always incredible. The staff is always friendly and kind. The building was recently updated and renovated. There isn't much more you could ask for. An excellent setting for the perfect event.
