Built in the late 1920's by the Buhl family as a weekend get-away. Purchased in 1967 by Oakland County and transformed into one of the Detroit areas most sought-after private event spaces. A site rich in Detroit’s automotive history. Established in 1927 by The Packard Motor Car Company, this unique site hosts multiple Albert Kahn designed buildings, located on 17 acres. It’s a lovely venue for weddings, car shows, plus corporate & social events. We have indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies. The tree lined boulevard is a nice outdoor option, but there are lots of choices on our 17 acres site.

Pine Knob Mansion is situated on an elegant estate in the woodlands of Clarkston, Michigan. Unique touches include stone walls hung with swords and shields, lavish chandeliers and carved wood paneling. The Mansion’s maximum capacity is 150 guests. Built in 1927, this chic building has a more contemporary style. It has a granite-topped bar, both white and dark wood columns and crystal chandeliers. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view of the golf course. The Carriage House is our larger venue hosting up to 280 guests with it's own covered outdoor pavilion perfect for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or outdoor dancing.
