About this venue

Pine Knob Mansion is situated on an elegant estate in the woodlands of Clarkston, Michigan. Unique touches include stone walls hung with swords and shields, lavish chandeliers and carved wood paneling. The Mansion’s maximum capacity is 150 guests. Built in 1927, this chic building has a more contemporary style. It has a granite-topped bar, both white and dark wood columns and crystal chandeliers. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view of the golf course. The Carriage House is our larger venue hosting up to 280 guests with it's own covered outdoor pavilion perfect for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or outdoor dancing.

Our contemporary Carriage House will host up to 280 guests with wood columns, crystal chandeliers, and granite counters. This venue has an outdoor pavilion that can be added for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing with an outdoor bar available. The Carriage House is accessibility friendly with ramps located for the pavilion and the main facility with nearly all spaces on the same level.

Got married here 5/11/24, the staff was very attentive, food was amazing, and the mansion was so beautiful. The 2 hours before the ceremony were chaotic since rain was on and off and we were unsure if an outdoor ceremony would happen or not. 10 minutes before the ceremony started staff ran out wiped all the chairs, and were able to make it happen! Received tons of compliments on the beauty of the venue, and how delicious the food was. 4/5 stars just because at the end of the night we were pushed out faster than our allowed 30minutes, the manager was literally locking doors as people were walking out of them, and we got a couple complaints about the bar staff. Besides that it was all amazing

My wife and I are the owners of Yellow Tree Photography. We have photographed weddings multiple times at the Pine Knob Mansion and the Pine Knob Carriage House . I must say both places are fantastic! They do such an amazing job! They treat their guests and vendors really well! We highly recommend choosing either venue for your wedding. You will not be disappointed! The grounds and venues are absolutely stunning!

Pine Knob holds a full service liquor license, so while outside liquor isn't allowed we are happy to explore ordering specialty items in for your big day!

The Mansion will host valet only (included in package pricing) and the Carriage House has a large self-parking lot.

Our standard reception will host six hours in the venue with two hours of vendor access prior to the start and thirty minutes of clean up at the end of the event.

No, our venue is fully insured; however, you are most welcome to secure a secondary policy if needed for outside vendors.

Our facility is in use year round with peak season May - December.

Yes, our facilities are wheelchair accessible. The Mansion will host ramps through all our main doors and out to the patio. The Carriage House is our most accessible facility with ramps at the back of the facility and into the pavilion area with nearly all activity areas on the same level. Both facilities do come equipped with an accessible restroom.
