The Cypress House is a Federal-style home constructed in 1835. Our property resides on 24 acres, along the bank of the Susquehanna River. In 1987, our family dedicated their hearts and hands to restoring the property to it's original glory. The estate features a stone barn dating back to 1817 and meticulously kept colonial gardens bursting with boxwood, magnolias, and garden roses. We are family owned and operated. When you choose to get married here, your wedding day is cared for and celebrated like you’re a part of our family. We specialize in outdoor, garden-side weddings, stunning candle lit receptions in our wood-grain pole tent, and the most talented in-house Floral and Design team. When you book with The Cypress House, you will also get to work with on of our Cypress Coordinators to ensure your planning process and wedding day are flawlessly executed.

We are a private garden venue located on 14 acres of private gardnes, with waterfalls and stone walk ways. We are casual and relaxed, warm and cozy. Carmen's Country Inn and Gardens is a family business that has been in business for over 60 years. Our wedding couples are very important to us they are family... not just a number. We included everything in our pricing having to do with your food and beverages, tax and gratuity. Wedding cakes are given as a gift to the wedding couple and ceremony site use is free.
