When we were planning for our wedding almost a year ago, it was so important to find a photographer we loved and were able to completely trust. We immediately knew after our initial phone conversation with Tyler that we didn’t need to look any further. Tyler isn’t just a photographer...she does SO MUCH more. Our wedding venue ended up canceling on us midway through this year. I was devastated but Tyler was there every step of the way and ALWAYS accommodating. She answered texts and was always available...even if it was asking for advice on bridesmaids dress colors. We ended up deciding to elope with family in an intimate beach setting. Tyler helped pick a venue and led the entire step of the way. I never felt like I was just another bride to Tyler. My grandparents who weren’t able to attend got to relive the day through our photos which is something I’ll cherish forever. We look at our photos almost daily and stare at them in awe...nonetheless, Tyler gave us a sneak peek in about 24hrs!!! If you want someone you can trust and rely on and know someone who can take all you milestone photos moving further...look know further. Tyler is simply the best.

My family selected Jamaica Bay Inn because it was next to a small beach cove accessible from the Bermuda banquet room. We gathered for a Celebration of Life event and wanted to fly kites in memory of our beloved that passed away. Sayyora the Catering Manager was extremely efficient and flexible with the menu and my special request. Christina and the banquest staff were amazing. Christina had to leave the room to answer another clients questions and made sure another banquet person was in the room until she returned. The food was hot and plentiful. We selected the Buffet Pasta Station (1 with chicken and 1 with shrimp), baby greens salad, delicious fresh fruit. Accomodations were made for my request for a gluten free menu. I was in the hospitality business for 19 years for major hotels as a Catering Manger and Covention Services Manager and my critical eye can be hard to please. But I must say that the attention to detail was above and beyond. I would recommend Jamacia Bay at every opportunity. My family wants to return for a family reunion or just a family luncheon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I can't recommend this company enough! From my first interaction with Rob to working with Nick on our wedding day, everything was so smooth and professional. I was looking for a non-traditional wedding DJ, someone who wasn't too cheesy or "in your face," and that is exactly what I found with this company. We loved working with Nick M. and had chosen him specifically because he was recommended for the type of music we prefer. He read the room and understood the vibe we were going for and was able to fill in the blanks in our provided playlists perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests regarding how good the music was, which made us really happy. Nick was also very flexible and accommodating as we had a lot of last-minute song choices (night before and day-of). He did everything to make sure we were on the same page with the song choices and song order, especially regarding the grand entrance and first dance songs. My only regret is that I didn't get to talk to Nick more amongst the craziness of the wedding day! I would highly recommend Second Song and Nick M. for all your wedding DJ needs!

From the prelude music to the last song, Seth kept the flow going, following our stated music goals and adding his professional knowledge to fill in the spaces where we were a little more opinion less. Seth is very organized and has a system in place to help the planning and decision making process go smoothly. His questions are helpful (I've never planned a wedding before, so he pointed out aspects for us to think about), and his suggestions are thoughtful. His skills as a DJ/MC fit perfectly into what we were looking for. If my husband and I were to do this all again, our first hire would be Seth every time.

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

Randall was recommended by our videographer (Call it Captivation Films, who we recommend). We really enjoyed his gallery and how natural his photos looked. We spoke to a few other photographers before him, but during our 1st video meeting he vibed well with us; he and I are both Fil-Am with history of working with pediatric patients (he as a PTA, me as a RN), and he and my husband shared a love for the same teams (Dodgers and Lakers). We were quick to book him after our meeting and are extremely happy with our decision to work with him! The photography packages he offers and his prices are amazing. Randall was great with communication and with providing us with recommendations (ie what to bring for flat lay, helping us pose, etc) prior to and day of the wedding. He did a site tour of our venue where we got to meet him and his kids in person. Prior to the ceremony, Randall worked with me, while the 2nd photographer worked with my husband. My husband said that the 2nd photographer fitted in well like one of the boys. He gave us a preview of the photos 1 week after our wedding and the full gallery of our wedding about 8-9 weeks after our wedding. We are so happy with all the photos! They are so beautiful and timeless, and they captured the essence of our wedding so well. **If you're looking for a photographer, Randall is your guy! I did the research for you :) Book him now! **

Can't say enough about the quality of James's work, his attention to detail, his professionalism, and curating the best dance party experience at our wedding!! From start to finish he was extremely prepared and provided us with all the materials needed to organize the music and run of show. He was even accommodating to our last minute music requests and was very patient with us. DJ Trey is THE BEST DJ!!! I wish we had even more time on the dance floor to keep letting him mix because he’s a genuinely fantastic DJ! Not just a DJ who sets up an iPhone or Spotify and lets it ride mindlessly, but a DJ who reads the crowd, takes input from the bride and groom, and uses his skill and best judgement to provide music that gets everyone on the dance floor. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! Aladdin Films is a way to go! Their level of service was nothing short of perfection. Meetings, phone calls, contracts, and payments were all handled with lightning speed and efficiency, leaving us with nothing to worry about. From the very first call meeting, we felt that they could read our minds, it was a strange and at the same time relieving feeling. We were 100% certain they knew what they were talking about. And after looking at their previous jobs, all of our concerns faded away. The result was shocking, I’d never imagined that I could be like one of those celebrities on the cover of GC. Pure magic. On the actual wedding day, the videographer took us outside for about 10 to 15 minutes or so, so he could get some footage of us acting… We are not actors. Not even close. But on the actual video, we looked so flawless, so natural, it is amazing. They are creating masterpieces out there, and we’re so glad that we chose them. Highly recommend!

We both felt that every minute with Trang was valued and well-spent. She has an innate ability to click and collaborate with her clients, not just as a coordinator, but as a friend, which felt so unique to us when it came to looking for coordinators. Her demeanor was so comforting, empathetic, and supportive, and she managed to maintain confidence and ease in our ideas. Trang took the time to really understand what we envisioned. Her experience in her profession was very apparent as she provided numerous insights to support us through our journey. Trang cares about the people she works with and it shows in every interaction. On the day of our wedding, a few challenges out of our control occurred; however, Trang made sure the event ran smoothly and without a hitch. We would’ve never known because of her quick actions and responses to any interruptions. Trang took very careful note of things that occurred throughout the evening and kept our best intentions in mind, even saving us money post wedding! She could’ve easily walked away post-event without informing us of such details and events, but the fact she did says a lot about her character and professionalism. All in all, please hire Trang as your wedding coordinator! She completely eased our minds through the 6 months of wedding planning and conducts so much behind the scenes to ensure that we fully celebrate our wedding with our guests without a hitch. On top of all this, we feel like we’ve really gained a nice relationship with Trang through this process, which made the wedding planning feel like working with a friend. Her and her husband Andrew are so talented, we had them do our wedding photos and video, as well as our engagement shoot, and my husband and I, could not be happier with how everything came out! The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. I can’t stress the amount of compliments we received about the talent and just overall vibe. They were a major highlight for every single guest. They are a truly talented group of individual artists and performers, who seamlessly come together collectively to put on an amazing show. But more importantly, they could not have been any more lovely as humans. They really made a magical weekend that much more magical, and we cannot say enough positive things. The team worked back and forth on the setlist and specific sound queues throughout the event. We likely weren’t the easiest to work with because of how specific our vision was for those individual moments throughout the run of show and the team really killed it when it was time for the event! I don’t know when we’ll ever host a party like this again, (though we won’t look any further than Dart) but we will certainly shout our referrals from the rooftops if any of our friends, families or coworkers are ever planning an event.

We met with a lot of photographers and Mysi blew them out of the water! In terms of competitive pricing, working within our budget, amazing creativity, phenomenal bubbly dedicated personality, and just overall being an asset to the entire process. Mysi really got what we were looking for. She was also so open and non-judgmental. (She even did boudoir shots at our delicate request, and I felt so comfortable with her.) She made sure to ask what I as the bride was concerned about with photos and how I wanted to end up looking. (Most of us in this culture have some kind of body issue, and she’s very sensitive and understanding.) I think I told her I wanted to look like a badass from a movie, and she completely delivered. As a bonus, she also worked extremely well with my mother-in-law. By the end, it really felt like I had hired a best friend I didn’t know I had. And the end product was everything we wanted, from sci-fi action thriller, to achingly beautiful art shots. Mysi really ran the range with her art. Easy responsive communication, reliable…. Just great. We were tough clients with a lot of special requests and unique situations, and Mysi just crushed it. Highly recommend.

I can not express how much I appreciate Stephen's work for our wedding (but I'll give it a try). From the first time we met, I could tell he was exactly what I was looking for. Someone who could take a group of dorky introverts and make them look like the stars of the show without making us feel silly or stressed. On the day of our wedding, he was able to keep up with our crazy huge wedding party and fast paced timeline. He was a hit with my family, my grandmother is still talking about how sweet he was and what a great job he did. After the wedding he took a couple weeks to edit the photos( a very quick turnaround in my opinion). I was absolutely dazzled. The moments he was able to capture will be celebrated in the family album for decades. I met Christina at a Bridal Expo and was amazed with the offered Day Of Coordination package. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.
