Cakes by Melissa has created artisinal cakes for the last 15 years. From H.S prom cupcakes, to a shed made for Tanglewood, to large corporate orders, to the most intricately designed wedding cake. It has been her passion for years, and shows in each and every cake or dessert she makes.

“Working with Melissa was such a blessing in a time of craze, nerves and excitement. I had never hosted a party of this size (150-200). From initial contact, to taste testing and solidifying the order- Melissa made it seamless and nothing less than professional and thorough. I was guaranteed a time, place and delivery. There was no worry due to the contact Melissa kept with me throughout the process. The cake and cupcakes arrived on time and were beautiful!! Not to mention DELICIOUS I highly recommend Melissa for any dessert needs no matter how large the function. The variety and creativity in her work & presentation is on point! “Choosing Cakes by Reba was the best choice of vendor we made for our reception. Our wedding was 11 months ago (apologies on taking so long to write the review), but our families are still talking about the cake and desserts we had at our reception! Reba was wonderful to work with, offered great suggestions as we were trying to decide cake flavors, and offered the best expertise. In addition to the wedding cake, we ordered specialty cupcakes and cheesecake bites. The groom's father passed away before the wedding, so adding toffee crumbles (his favorite sweet) to the top of the cheesecake bites was a personal touch that the guests absolutely loved. Reba was communicative, punctual on the day of, and easy to work with. I would recommend Cakes by Reba as the perfect choice for a wedding cake and dessert vendor for your wedding. You will not regret it! Her work was delicious and equally as stunning to look at. Thank you Reba for all you did for us for our wedding.”

“Claire was an absolute gem to work with from the beginning. Communication was always strong and clear with realistic expectations. We got to sample some of her delicious work and talked to her about creating a unique flavor to commemorate our unique wedding. Claire took this challenge and blew it out of the water, keeping us constantly in the loop, working with our florist for the right flowers, and delivered to our venue (also in Brandon, VT) on the wedding day! We wish we could have seen her to give her a true thank you in person but amidst the festivities, we missed seeing her set up, but definitely got to reap the benefits. I have had the opportunity to work with Lucy a few times and her cakes and design are just above and beyond some of the best I have seen.
