Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. After seeing the property, its luscious landscape, and the rustic charm of the original buildings, Rick had a vision. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

The Anchorage, with origins back to 1800, is a Federal Telescopic Tidewater style B&B with waterfront views and three guest rooms available to the wedding party situated on the beautiful Choptank River. We offer a relaxed, peaceful and romantic experience on the shores of the river, which is part of the Chesapeake Bay waterway. The venue is nestled on 12 acres of waterfront property with forest on either side and protected wetlands.

La Banque de Fleuve presents two distinct spaces, each with its own unique allure. The Historic Bank, with its lofty ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and intricate details, exudes the timeless opulence of a bygone era, where elegance beautifully intersects with history, creating an atmosphere that whisks you away to another time. On the other hand, the Seaplane Base offers a contrasting yet equally enchanting setting. Nestled alongside the river's edge, it provides sweeping panoramic views of the water, infusing your celebration with a natural serenity. With its open-air design and the soothing sounds of the water in the background, it becomes a tranquil oasis right in the heart of the city.

This historic estate sits on a secluded the 23 acre East Lake. The mansion can sleep up to 14 guests overnight. Minimum night stay is 2 nights unless the wedding guest list is under 35. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in the mansion for small indoor weddings. Tents and rentals and catering are by our selected vendors and we can assist with all of your wedding needs from music to flowers to makeup artists and hairstylists.

Boasting a front porch that looks out onto the expansive lawns, there is a cultivated sophistication to the building’s exterior. After you have been joined in matrimony at your outdoor ceremony, make your way indoors to delight at the interiors. Here, there is a great deal to appreciate. Stepne Manor’s dining room provides space for you and your guests to sit and eat, while the kitchen affords any hired culinary staff with an ideal preparation base. The great room, den, and sun porch provide ample room for everyone to kick back, relax, and enjoy the festivities.

Greenbank is a beautiful setting for your DIY event, with historic charm and a natural outdoor setting by the Red Clay Creek. You’ll want to plan hours before and after your event for setup/decorating and cleanup. You can choose to rent in smaller blocks of time using our Standard Package or take advantage of our Wedding Package: it provides access to the site across two days to allow for stress-free setup, deliveries, rehearsals, photographs, and event preparations, plus cleaning services and other special accommodations.
