“Gemma was great! From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and really listened to what we wanted. She listened to our concerns about getting some of our guests to dance and gave us a lot of great advice going into the wedding day, like adding dance floor props to get everyone engaged and adjusting our anniversary dance so everyone ends up on the dance floor. She worked with us and curated a great wedding playlist. Our guests complimented us on what a great DJ she was. Everyone loved seeing her behind the booth, dancing along with the guests. At one point, one of our guests dropped a glass and she played “Heart of Glass” right after, which was perfectly timed (lol). She really knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy up while still playing some of our silly requests. She curated a great mashup for the mother/son dance. My brother-in-law wanted to play a piece on a keyboard for part of his speech and Gemma worked with us in providing an amp so everyone could hear the piece. She even took videos during the ceremony and reception and shared them with me afterwards which is something I did not expect but was so grateful to have. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“My Hero Zero is absolutely incredible. I've seen them countless in times in State College and my wife was also a huge fan after seeing them in Ocean City/Dewey many times. From the beginning, Daryl, the band's manager, was a dream to communicate with – always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating to our needs. “We are so happy to have hired Maggie as the dj for our wedding. She is a delight, and very communicative. She was also very helpful in explaining the process, the services and packages she provides which made it a breeze to decide what we needed. We only hired her for our reception but was willing to help out playlists together for our ceremony or cocktail hour. She definitely has experience and went above and beyond. “I will just start by saying that hiring the Franklin & Alison Music Band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding on 5/18/24 at the Atrium of Tenafly! We received so many compliments from all the guests for the quality of the live band we had; and to our joy, the dance floor was always brimming with people. We happened upon the band’s website via The Knot’s suggested music provider list and absolutely loved their sample videos, songs, pictures, and testimonials. From the get go, Laraine was a pleasure to work with - always clear, on point with her answers, considerate, personable, and compassionate. We spoke at length via several phone calls and email exchanges about our history as a couple and our music preferences and then we met in person to go over all the details and narrow down the list of our favorite songs, She paid close attention to the pronunciation of names, nailed the parent dance song suggestions and the timing of the different reception activities. Then Laraine, Keith and the band did an amazing job at compiling an extremely successful playlist customized to our wedding. “Petya is absolutely incredible- she’s the best! From our first phone call, Petya was warm and welcoming, professional and enthusiastic. It felt like talking to an old friend. She made the music process easy and stress-free, and even learned a song for our ceremony. We did not have a DJ, so everything relied on the violin. The background tracks filled in the music beautifully, and you could tell Petya gave it her all and played her heart out, and EVERYONE knew it! We had so many compliments on her and her music. When it was time for her to finish up and have some dinner, she was invited to sit at multiple guest tables, and our family didn’t want her to leave! We cannot recommend Petya more!
