His expertise in event conduction and his ability to smile in the face of chaos kept everything organized and on track, even when the weather threw us a curveball. He helped redirect guests seamlessly when we had to adjust the schedule due to high winds and rain. His musical selections were spot on, providing great background music during dinner and keeping guests engaged on the dancefloor with an intuitive mix of songs we requested along with well-timed classics. Zacch went above and beyond by playing music late into the night after being informed by the camp hosts that he would need to spend the night at the venue due to an atmospheric river and downed trees blocking the road. My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. At first I thought our party would be too small for an 8-piece band at the reception, but they were the perfect addition to build up the crowd and keep everyone together on the dance floor. They even came into the crowd to sing and play instruments to stir up enthusiasm. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. Tristan and Jeff are so responsive, and they were able to work with both me and my wedding coordinators directly to take some of the logistics off my plate. It was also very fun working with the band for all requests. They learned our first dance song so quickly and even sent me a sample of a shortened version of the song to practice to with my husband. They are a wonderful band for any kind of event, large or small, that you want your guests dancing all night with happy hearts.”

“Keith was able to deliver excellent sound ,MC services, and a great time during my outdoor wedding a a thunderstorm! I was worried my vendors would leave when we got caught in a rare desert rain storm in Joshua tree. Although, Keith was understandably concerned about his equipment he stuck around a played all of our favorite songs. He has an online portal to input all of you song choices for ceremony and reception but I would recommend scheduling a call after putting in all that information. I unfortunately, waiting to the last minutes to put everything on the portal and I think I could have communicated better on a call or video chat. My wedding day did not go as planned but it was the best day of my life and everyone had a blast! I owe that Keith and the rest of my vendors who stayed in spite of wet clothes and flash flooding.”

From our first interaction, he was straightforward, receptive, and honest, quickly putting us at ease with his friendly and funny communication style. On the day of, he was professional, prompt, and easy to work with - a true pro who kept the dance floor packed all night. Our older guests loved him, and my millennial friends thought he was great as well. Matt was also really charming and supportive to my husband, who was a bit nervous, which we really appreciated. “Words can’t express how much we loved working with Ana & Jimmy and the entire Amp DJ Band Hybrid. My husband really wanted a band while I really wanted a DJ, Amp DJ band was the perfect mix. We found Ana & Jimmy immediately and were able to schedule a meeting with them the next day. We knew right away that they were right for us. They were extremely attentive and outgoing from the start. They answered all out of questions and addressed concerns we had. We booked them immediately because we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to work with them. We met with them several times through our 6 month planning process. They responded immediately to any questions that popped up along the way and even allowed us to make a last minute change the night before. They well exceeded our musical playlist, taking the songs we requested and tailoring the rest of the music to fit the vibe. There was a perfect mix of live songs and an awesome dj set. The amount of compliments my husband & I received about the band far exceeded anything we expected. All of our guests LOVED them (of course as did we).
