We had our wedding at Carmel Fields in December, and it was a beautiful day. At first, I had some hesitations about choosing Wedgewood because all inclusive sounds like it could be a bit cookie cutter, but I’m so glad we went with them. They allowed us to personalize so many elements, and their staff made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The Planning & Staff: We absolutely loved working with Alycia during the planning process leading up to the wedding. The whole team is so organized, responsive, and easy to work with. Every time I would email them with a question the answer was prompt and usually "Yes!". It made me feel so reassured and supported throughout. Despite a last-minute change to our day-of coordinator, the new coordinator we were paired with, Anahi, was fantastic and handled everything so well—so professional, sweet, and calming. She made everything run smoothly despite a timeline hiccup. Luis, our banquet manager, took over during the reception and I truly appreciated how attentive and organized he was. Flexibility & Customization: Wedgewood provided the structure of an all-inclusive venue, but they also allowed us the flexibility to bring in our own touches and vendors. I worked with their florist for the larger pieces (like our split ceremony arch and upgraded centerpieces) while also bringing in my own DIY florals for things like bridesmaid bouquets and bud vases. They were accommodating when it came to letting us customize certain elements, like our bar setup and décor, which helped us make the space feel like “us.” The Food: The appetizers during cocktail hour were a hit—guests really raved about them! I didn’t get as much feedback about the main plated meal, but our vendors mentioned they loved it. Personally, I didn’t get to eat much (even though I swore I’d be a bride who did!), and I felt the food was about what I expected for a wedding. Value for the Price: Carmel is a very high-cost area, and I feel like we got a great deal for what we paid. The venue is absolutely stunning, the weather was perfectly sunny for December. We did the elite package and got upgraded chairs, top shelf liquor, a plated meal - Wedgewood's packages allowed us to have a beautiful, elevated wedding without breaking the bank. Final Thoughts: The team we worked with went above and beyond to ensure everything came together flawlessly. If you’re looking for a venue that simplifies the planning process while still allowing room for personal touches, I highly recommend!

Channon and Kari were both amazing. We toured in 2023, and Channon was extremely welcoming and warm. We toured on a wedding day, which was perfect because we were able to envision what our special day would look like. We toured about 7 other venues in the area and quickly realized that Oak & Ivy at Home Sweet Home was where we wanted to have our special day. Kari went through the budget with us before we hired her on, and she was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. I can't recommend her enough for planning. She planned a Taylor Swift themed Speakeasy that was AMAZING, and would highly recommend doing one if it's in the budget. Kari also did our florals- we loved them! Kari and Channon were great at communicating when things were due so we were able to stay on track without stressing out. We loved having our wedding day there and wouldn't change it for the world!

My wife and I were married at 1800 El Pomar on April 1st. So many of our guests told us that this was one of the most beautiful weddings they’d ever been to, and the number one reason was the setting. A few months after we booked the date we were notified that the property was sold and we’d be dealing with new owners. Boy are we happy that Brit and Amber bought this ranch, because they made us feel so comfortable from the moment we met. So many improvements were made in just the few months leading up to our wedding, and they were always approachable and willing to help us with anything we needed. Brit even picked up extra firewood for us last minute and helped our make-up artist get her flat tire fixed on the big day. It’s a spacious property with plenty of parking and is easily accessible for the guests. The bathrooms are clean and modern, the layout makes perfect sense, and great pictures are super easy with a beautiful backdrop in any direction. We had 10 of us comfortably stay in the farmhouse, where we also hosted a rehearsal dinner for about 30 guests. Everything went smoothly and I can’t recommend using this property enough for a wedding or any event. We are so grateful to Brit and Amber, we could not have dreamed of getting married in a more magical place.

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows at this elegant venue. The staff was responsive and diligent to our needs and worked well with the vendors we enlisted making the event simple to execute. The grounds are exceptional with breathtaking views from the rear of the house across the Paso wine country. There was a lovely morning fog that burned off by 10AM and then crystal clear sunlight. Getting married at Paicines Ranch was an absolutely magical experience. From the stunning ranch landscape featuring historical buildings, silos, and rolling oak-studded hills that painted that landscapes to the charismatic, delightful, and incredibly helpful events crew (Mary is a gem), this venue has it all! To top it off, it's a working ranch tackling regenerative agriculture and they aligned with my values and eco wedding. The Village, Big Sur was an absolute dream to work with, creating our "Night Before" celebration. I could not be happier with our evening and dinner! The staff was amazing both planning and executing our event which was held on the lawn and in "the barn", a truly gorgeous, serene setting. Attention to detail was evident, personal and thoughtful. The evening began with a "welcome" signature cocktail, champagne, and a beautiful canape' station. Dinner followed with a land and sea inspired menu. Absolute perfection! We have worked with The Camp Carmel Valley for years and this location is a wonderful venue for a wedding or corporate event. They are responsive to guests needs, easy to work with and such a serene place to be for a weekend. As a vendor, we love the versatility of the space for outdoor cooking displays or use of their kitchen. We have catered for large groups for all meals on their weekends and it has always been a great experience. 10/10 recommend!
