Welcome. Carmel Valley is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) located 12 miles inland from the California coastline and within Monterey County. Due to its elevation among the steep hills of the Santa Lucia Range, Carmel Valley is sheltered from Monterey’s cool maritime fog, allowing for the production of rich, flavorful Bordeaux-style wines.
