We do not allow outside beer or non-alcoholic beverages. Wine may be brought in for a $25 per bottle corkage or $50 per magnum.

Yes, self-parking is available for free. We encourage carpooling due to limited space.

The Big Sur Roadhouse rehearsal/reception venue is fully accessible. The ceremony sites are not technically ADA compliant but have been used many times in the past by guests with wheelchairs or other mobility devices with no issues. There is one ADA room in our motel.

For ceremonies: Set up, cleanup, chairs, a table with water and iced tea & glassware. For dinner events: Tables, chairs, china, flatware, glassware.

For ceremony-only events the site fee gives you access to the ceremony site for two hours of your choosing anytime between 10am and 6pm. Access to the ceremony site for decor may begin anytime on the day of the wedding and will be non-exclusive. Reception events begin at 5:30pm for guest arrival and must end at 10:00pm, with vendor access for decor and catering etc at 3:30pm at the earliest.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable.

Glen Oaks Big Sur is located approximately 30 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1. The closest airport is the Monterey Airport which is a small regional airport with direct flights to only a few cities. The closest large/international airport is in San Jose and the San Francisco airport is approximately a 2.5-hour drive. There are no busses or rideshare services in Big Sur so you will need to rent a car.
