Homesteads Events is a division of Homesteads Management, one of the Piedmont and Western North Carolina fastest-growing and well-respected event & hospitality companies. A small non-descript utility building on the premises, while listed as a “noncontributing” structure, is believed to have been a carriage house for the David Ramsour House (ca. 1820) which occupied the property years ago.

The Laboratory Mill, based out of Lincolnton, North Carolina, is an upscale waterside wedding venue. Nestled on the outskirts of Maiden, NC, The Providence Cotton Mill gives you an old-world charm, with an inviting outdoor feel. Surrounded by green fields and a plush forest, the 130 year old, two story building features a soaring 30 ft. tall ceiling, allowing sunlight to stream in through the arched, open windows. The main hall is a 10,000 sq. ft. area, giving the ability to divide into ceremony and reception. Hart Square is a 200 acre oasis settled in the rolling hills of Western North Carolina. It is the largest collection of log cabins in the country. There are 3 lakes, two chapels, a covered picnic area and several fields, including a 5 acre sunflower field.
