Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. The upstairs houses a theater styled hall, a bridal suite, a grooms room, and two restrooms. The theater styled hall consists of a stage lining the back wall and elevated theater style seating along the side walls. The downstairs houses male & female restrooms, a kitchen available for catering, and a reception hall. Round tables and chairs are provided along with their set up and tear down. There is also an outside location available upon request. An individual will be on-site for supervision. At the Brookshire Inn & Golf Club we pride ourselves in giving you exactly what you want and expect on your wedding day. During the warmer months, we can accommodate up to 300 guests (this is an indoor/outdoor reception).

The Country Club of Lansing, located in Lansing, Michigan, is a venue open to hosting wedding receptions. This private country club was first founded in 1908 by a small group of people who had the sole intention of creating a golf club. It slowly expanded over the following decades, eventually growing to include an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness facility, and golf practice range.
