Woodland Floral Design Co.

5.0

Biglerville, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

We had a blast working with Misha. Her florals that she executed were phenomenal and even beyond our own expectations. She is very down to earth and was the easiest and my favorite vendor to work with. Echoing what others have mentioned, her signature look is lush, full florals and I feel that her florals are exceptionally full compared to other florists we had initially looked at. If you want florals to be the centerpiece of your event, Misha is your florist! She was always accessible, dependable and great to bounce ideas off of. We provided a color palette to her and the overall vibes and trusted in her creativity and it turned out amazing. It was a very non-stressful experience leaving the florals up to her. We would highly recommend her without any hesitations. A dependable, responsive, artistic vendor but most importantly, a kind, genuine and warm individual!

    Arms Of Persephone Floral Design

    5.0

    St. Petersburg, FL
    • Starts at $3,500

What does it look like to have Arms Of Persephone transform your wedding venue, fill your arms with flowers, or send you off with color and fragrance? It looks like one-of-a-kind designs thoughtfully crafted, with room to go wild, get messy, and tell a love story that is uniquely, beautifully, your own.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We're so so glad to have worked with Regan and Arms Of Persephone! From the very beginning Regan was incredibly organized, punctual, helpful, open, and creative! She truly nailed the florals for our wedding based off of the vibes we shared with her of our inspiration and we were in love with what she produced. Not only did she create a stunning bridal bouquet for me, but she absolutely NAILED the design for our wedding arch by adding carnation chains. We were able to use this not only as the back drop of our ceremony, but also behind our table as further decor. Regan also did a great job of working with my husband and I to stay in budget, while still feeling like we weren't giving up anything critical to the aesthetic of the day. She was absolutely wonderful and we can't recommend working with Arms Of Persephone enough!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

    4.8

    Oklahoma City, OK
    • Starts at $350

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We had a tropical themed wedding and used Flower Moxie for tropical flowers and greenery: bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, ceremony arch flowers. I wish there were more tropical related videos on their DIY Academy, but I did love working with my assigned florist and the help desk was quick in their response. For those who are getting married at the same location that the flowers are being delivered (my parents' home), I wish we would have done all of the floral arrangements the day before instead of 2 days before. And our spray roses came a day later and were a little sad looking. But overall, we were very happy with the service and highly recommend to others!

    Fountainhead Floral Design

    5.0

    Milford, CT
    • Starts at $3,000
    • Offer

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Our wedding was held at Saltwater Farm Vineyard in June 2024. Kate was such a pleasure to work with and really brought our floral vision to life! I appreciated her free excel planning tools and how responsive she was from our first inquiry. After our first phone call, I realized that she is incredibly easy-going and down to earth, in addition to being well-organized. These are qualities you want in your wedding vendors. I have always loved florals and she helped me craft a vision that stayed within our budget. Our theme was coastal vineyard - I wanted the vibe to be loose & romantic without veering too rustic. She found this balance perfectly! On our wedding day, she arrived early and took care of everything quietly without a hitch! I didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't recommend Fountainhead Floral enough!

Daydream Floral creates dreamy compositions based on what YOU ask for. Our approach is to adapt to your requests and floral needs. We value the time you spend creating your Pinterest boards and gathering images and we design according to what you request. We are flexible and easy to work with!

We had a great experience working with Mitali. My wife and I love plants and so we wanted our wedding florals to reflect that. We reached out to Mitali and asked if she would be willing to put together a plant-forward design for our wedding. Mitali immediately got excited about the idea and started thinking of unique ways to integrate plants into the space. We were blown away by the outcome. The plants were so unique and special. We had people coming up to us all night telling us how great they looked. All the guests were also allowed to take the plants home at the end of the night which we thought was such a unique party favor and also great way to reduce waste. In addition to the center pieces, Mitali put together a stunning bridal bouquet and boutonniere that matched the colors of the wedding perfectly. Mitali was also very responsive throughout the whole wedding planning process and had some great recommendations and advice. We're so grateful to Mitali for bringing our vision to life and would highly recommend her as a wedding florist!

WOW! First word that comes to my mind after working with Cristina at Designing by CC is WOW! When I first met Cristina, she walked me through every single detail about the wedding that I did not even think of. She has so much skill & knowledge in what she does; it is so easy to see why she is so talented. Throughout the 2 year engagement, Cristina constantly stayed in touch with me and always asked me what I thought / what my vision was. She was always easy to get in contact with if I did have a question and she was always more than willing to help me with anything I needed. When it came to the wedding day, she was on top of EVERYTHING. Not only was she early, but she was so efficient in setting everything up. She was even able to help with our seating chart, as she had a vision for tiering the name cards. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. I have never worked with anyone like her. Cristina is extremely detail-oriented, organized, and creative. She really brought my vision to life from just a couple pictures, colors, etc. I would work with Designing by CC for all my floral needs for any occasion (wedding, birthday, etc). Even after the wedding, she kept communication open with me and asked if I needed anything. If you are looking for a florist who truly can do it all and then some, use Cristina at Designing by CC. She is everything I could've asked for for our wedding. She is truly amazing!! I wish I could give her 10 stars out of 5!

    Flowers For Dreams

    4.9

    Chicago, IL
    • Starts at $500

Flowers for Dreams is a mission-driven, local flower design company. Using beautiful & natural wedding bouquets to advance causes of justice and charity in your community. There are no silly upsells, no unnecessary add-ons, and always honest pricing. Our designers work with you from the first meeting to your wedding day.

We booked Flowers for Dreams for our wedding and they were amazing! Out of 3 quotes we received, they were the most reasonable price. We worked with Mae who was amazing! As a type A bride, I had changed my mind quite a bit and she was always so patient and willing to adjust the proposal. When we went to view our sample, there were even changes I wanted to make to that and she reassured me that the florals would be exactly what I wanted, and they were even better than I expected! We also did greenery, light bulbs, and drapery on the ceiling which she was very encouraging about. Our wedding was lakefront, and another vendor told me we could not do a runner due to the wind. When I asked Mae if we could do a runner, she said of course!! Everything we asked was received with enthusiasm. It was truly all so beautiful and Mae completely understood the vibe we were going to. Just blown away! I would rebook them and recommend them to everyone I know

Brittany did an amazing job with our wedding flowers! During our first phonecall, I told her I was aiming for a fairy garden vibe, and I described the color palette. And as soon as she sent me her proposal a few days later, I knew she was the right fit for us! She really understood exactly what I was envisioning, and she came up with a few different options. Communication was also easy. Brittany is responsive and I felt confident that we had all our bases covered and every detail was well planned. On our wedding day, the flowers were simply stunning! Brittany delivered and set everything up, and everything was just like in the proposal we had discussed. She was even able to repurpose the floral arch after the ceremony, and move it to the reception hall. I had spoken to a few other florists, and none of them were prepared to do that, so the fact that Brittany made it possible was a huge deal to me! The entire experience was just perfect. If your wedding flowers are a priority for you, she will make the magic happen!

My wedding was made extra beautiful all thanks to these wonderful ladies! I really appreciated the transparency of pricing, especially when a lot of other wedding vendors during this already stressful time were keeping that important detail so hush hush until I had already sent 10 emails back and forth. They’re completely affordable if you’re on a budget but if you have a little extra money to spend on flowers, give it all to these girls and go all out. They will make your dreams come true and more, and it’s worth every penny, I promise.

So many people commented on how beautiful the florals were and I am so so happy with how it all turned out. Merkels Floral Studio

    5.0

    Mentor, OH
    • Starts at $10,000

Founded in 1940, when we say we have decades of experience, we really mean it. Since then our love for flowers and our team has only grown. Day to day you can catch us designing floral arrangements and delivering them by the truck full. We source locally whenever possible (of course). We especially love weddings and just adore our brides. Aside from that, we are probably spending any other spare time cheering on fellow entrepreneurs and our favorite vendors of this industry. We love to pour back into our city by supporting local events, schools, and the animal shelter. And we could go on of course, but there is a word limit :)

    Awarded Best of Zola
When I first got engaged I knew immediately that I wanted Kristin and her team at Merkels to be our florist. Kristin's attention to detail, willingness to try anything, and overall easy-going personality made the entire planning process with her so smooth. When we sat down to discuss the vision I had for my wedding I told her I was thinking blues, purples, whites, and I wanted the entire place to give off a coastal Italian vibe - which I was positive made no sense, but Kristin was the biggest yes-woman. She immediately understood what I wanted and was so helpful when sitting down to discuss what I was thinking for the wedding. On top of this, she was incredibly conscious of our budget and worked with me to make sure I got everything I wanted within my price range! Another thing I never got to compliment on was her memory & attention to details; I had asked for Dahlias and Peonies in my bouquet if possible - knowing it was probably not going to happen as they weren't in season ... BUT SHE GOT THEM which I did not expect at all. From our altar and signage, to the centerpieces and bouquets, Kristin and her team exceeded my expectations by 1000%. I would not change a single thing. Kristin, we love you so much, and cannot thank you enough!

She ensured that we stayed within the budget parameters we set by providing various options of things we could do but, making sure everything was still of the highest quality. She even worked with our schedule to come meet us at the venue with samples to finalize all the details. A few days before the wedding we ran into a small issue around the Chuppah structure we chose and she made sure to call us right away to explain the situation, and came up with alternative solutions that did not require any additional charge. The finished product was beautiful. I’m still getting compliments on my flower arrangements a month later!! If you work with Sonya and her team, you won’t be sorry!

Aria was lovely to work with throughout the entire planning process. We wanted to keep our flower arrangements relatively simple since our venue had incredible city skyline views. Aria did an fabulous job of selecting beautiful and unique blooms for the bouquets, boutonnières, tables, and of course the stunning arch for the ceremony. Aria was very professional (and most importantly discrete!) while working with the bride to coordinate the flowers with a floral gown without letting on about the dress design to the groom.

Jess made my absolute dream wedding florals come true! After our initial consult, she sent me a beautifully pieced together PDF of her ideas/vision for the florals which must have taken her so much time. We discussed any changes, and then signed the contract. She was extremely responsive, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire wedding process which made my life as a bride so much easier. On the day of the wedding, she was there early and had her set-up process down to a schedule. I have to say, the florals were absolutely stunning and had my guests asking for the name of my florist. I feel that her work was truly worth more than what I paid for and I appreciate everything that she did so much. I don't know how to give more than 5 stars but I would if I could!

I texted Laura the day of my wedding because I felt like she needed to know my first tears were shed when I saw my bouquet. Words cannot describe how perfect it was. Laura took everything me and my partner asked for and ran with it. Florals were a very big piece of our wedding and I really feel like we asked the perfect person to bring them to life. Not only were the florals perfect but my mom stopped me the day after my wedding just to tell me she ran into Laura and she was "just so kind". 100/10 would recommend hiring her for your wedding.

I used Heather for our chuppah rental for my wedding at Windham Manor. I saw her brown bark chuppah on Instagram and immediately knew I had to have it. Heather was amazing to work with and the result was absolutely stunning! I am so in love with how it turned out. She even helped me customize the wooden platform from another one of her rentals to work with our chuppah and give me the exact vision I wanted. She was also super flexible. I was slow to decide which location at the venue I wanted the ceremony at and she did not rush me at all. I ended up wanting the ceremony on the grass and the venue said the chuppah would have to be taken down the same night if we were to be allowed to do this. Of course Heather said this would be no problem at all and was immediately willing to stay and do this for us. They day of our wedding ended up being a bit crazy with on and off rain but Heather was totally calm and go with the flow while the planner worked on making the rain decision. She also attached a family tallis to the top of the chuppah and it stayed perfectly, despite the not ideal weather conditions. Highly recommend working with Heather!!!

Loved working with Isabel. She had great suggestions for us when we came in with a vague vision, and stayed super-flexible and kind through every stage of the planning and execution, even helping fashion a last-minute unplanned corsage just before the aisle walk. Helianthus and Lace is a wedding and event floral design business serving the deeply in love and aiming to glorify Jesus through it all. Helianthus is the Latin term for sunflower and comes from the root Helio and Greek Helios, meaning Sun. As sunflowers are growing and beginning to bloom, they turn their heads towards the sun - I find this to be a great analogy for faith in Jesus. As we are growing and blooming in any stage of life, we should be continually turning our heads to the Son. Flowers have been a part of my life since 2014, and I have been flowering weddings since 2018. I'm so glad you are here!

First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.

            Gettysburg, PA

My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

            Awarded Best of Zola
I am not sure my wedding would have felt as beautiful and magical as it did without Fiddlestix. Tiara was so incredible throughout the entire process. I can’t say enough about how great this experience was! The flowers looked incredible and were exactly what I wanted. But the real star was the coordinating service. Tiara went above and beyond what we even knew we were buying with the day-of coordinating contract. She was there for us for so much and helped us more than I could have asked. No detail was too small or nuanced for Tiara. I am a perfectionist with a keen attention to detail and Tiara exceeded every expectation I could have had. She never treated us like we were asking for too much and was flexible as we changed our minds on certain details. Tiara and Kelsie did an incredible job on the day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly. They took care of everything so that my husband and I could truly relax and enjoy our wedding day. Tiara took care of a difficult vendor that was causing me grief and that really meant the world to us on our wedding day. We were worried we may have had too many decorations or too many moving parts, but none of this was a challenge to Tiara and Kelsie. And even if it was, they did not show it! I have high standards in general and often have trouble not being in control of things because I am very particular, but with Tiara I was actually able to trust her and enjoy my day. This is not a compliment I give lightly and one that I mean wholeheartedly. The Fiddlestix team was by far our favorite wedding vendor (and we really had some great ones!) I cannot recommend them enough!

            About wedding florists

How much do wedding bouquets cost?

Wedding bouquets vary in cost by bouquet size, quantity and density of blooms, season, and flower type. Your wedding location and cost of living will also have an impact. In general, you can expect to pay $200–$400 for a larger main bouquet, and $100–$250 for smaller wedding party bouquets. Communicate openly with your florist about your budget and vision—colors and inspirational photos are often more helpful to your florist than specific types of flowers.

How can we save money on our wedding flowers?

Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Talk openly with your florist about the look you want to achieve, rather than specific flowers you want. They can suggest flower species and options to make your vision happen in a way that fits your budget.
