Aloha! I'm Roman. I've been living on the magical island of O'ahu since I came to UH Manoa in 2009 for my Economics Degree. I got involved with the University radio station (90.1 FM), started doing live events, and really loved showing off my rare music finds. Nothing beats the feeling of rocking a live crowd for track after track, especially after the long pause in events! DJing is all I do for "work", and I love it! Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

Aloha, I'm Joshua Nakazawa, Hawaii Symphony Orchestra cellist and owner of Mana Music Hawaii. I have been a singer/ musician for most of my life. I have a deep passion and love for music that is displayed in every event that I play. I emcee most of my events because that is what I am well known for in Hawaii. I am not over the top but I deliver a smooth, non-intrusive show and program for guests to enjoy. Being in public and having fun with others is not always an easy task for some. But if I can encourage “just one person” to be themselves and don’t worry about what people think about their dancing I feel I did more than make a person dance. I feel like I built their self-esteem.

Since 1998 Sheryl has been collaborating with Maui's Arts Education for Children Group and Jazz Maui, with appearances at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, The Lahaina Amphitheater, The IOA Theater, Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, The Ritz Carlton Kapalua, and several Front St venues, but her favorite is Maui's 4th of July fireworks celebration at the Lahaina Library (To date, 7 appearances). She loves working with incredible Maui-based musicians.

DJ Sam Diego is the principal owner and head DJ/Emcee of DJ Sam Diego Events…and recently added wedding officiant to the tool belt as well. DJ Sam Diego has a passion for planning events, music, and is a trained emcee so it was only natural for him to become a DJ too. DJ Sam Diego loves a plethora of music including 90s pop and hip-hop, 60s-2010s hits, disney music, country, and a latin music guru. I started DJ’ing as a kid with two boom boxes, cassette mixtapes, and a deep love for music. I got into Turntablism and DJ’ing as an art form after completing a term in the Air Force. That's when I expanded my love for music and worked my way through college DJ’ing and doing voiceover. At Cal State I earned a B.A. in Film & Audio Production, and I then went on to become a certified Audio Engineer. When it comes to DJing for private events/venues like club rentals, weddings, corporate parties etc, I love my clients, and thrive on making meaningful connections.
