Located in Danville, in the picturesque old downtown area, Aracely Lounge offers a relaxed, welcoming space which includes a large patio + garden complete with lounge seating, string lights, and heat lamps. As you enter the cozy interior, there are options for bar seating, table or lounge area dining. With a focus on local, seasonal, healthy, and delicious options, our menu offers a selection of California cuisine with options for cocktail hour, buffet, family style or plated. Our bar offers sightglass coffee + espresso options, and a full bar with a selection of seasonal cocktails, wine, + beer. We host a variety of all-inclusive private events including weddings + corporate events, and we offer a private room for smaller parties of up to 30 guests upstairs.

Our venue is centered in the heart of the UC Berkeley Campus. Built in the 1950's, Alumni House has a cozy and warm atmosphere, ready to welcome all alumns, friends, and newcomers to campus. The event space consists of both indoor and an outdoor areas. The Toll Room is a large open space preserved in its original mid century modern aesthetic with a full wall of sliding glass doors. It opens on to the patio surrounded by mature trees that create a charming canopy decorated with string lights. Surrounded by towering red woods, and a trickling creek, you can have the best of both worlds: an outdoor space with the convenience of being close to the city. Our wedding package includes access to entire event space including an indoor event space, patio, and kitchen.

La Note is an authentic Provençal restaurant located in the vibrant heart of California. Since 1997 La Note has serviced the Berkeley community and is thankful for all of the people and companies that have been here for us.

COMAL is a gathering place located in Berkeley’s bustling Arts District, just north of the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. The restaurant is housed in a single-story building (circa 1927) and features a lush, secluded rear patio with a full bar, covered dining area, and al fresco beer garden with fire pit. Executive Chef Matt Gandin creates earthy, modern interpretations of dishes from throughout Mexico, with emphasis on Oaxaca and neighboring coastal regions. We offer an “all-Mexican” list of craft cocktails, house-made sangritas paired with our curated collection of agave spirits, and a diverse selection of local beer and wine on tap.

With whimsical sets, 10 acres of beautifully tended gardens, colored fairy lights, and a picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Merritt, our park is the ideal venue for a one-of-a-kind wedding. We offer a canopied amphitheater with both indoor and outdoor seating options, an expansive lawn, water features, and a number of themed areas perfect for receptions and sit-down dinners. Guests will delight in discovering a pirate ship and dragons or taking a ride on the iconic Jolly Trolly train. The Chapel of Peace offers a picturesque backdrop for wedding and engagement photos. The Oakland Scottish Rite Center was completed in 1927, with over a thousand craftsmen working on the project. The construction cost was approximately $1.5 million. This was a sizeable sum at the time equivalent to about $22 million today. From ground breaking to completion the edifice was erected in just two years. This is the second temple in Oakland built from the ground up by the Scottish Rite Masonic fraternity since 1883, when it was first chartered in Oakland.
